Mine spit the dummy when i did it also. Make sure the connections are tight and the hose is the right size. It calmed down eventually and now is spot on.

yours is a '99 plate S3 which is an APY right? So you will have SAI, did you follow wellys guide for the SAI too?

yup mine is apy and i did put a t in and ive left the 249 plugged in ???????

Hmmm odd one that. Id the dump valve working alright? Just check it over again and again. Or like that fella said above, it might settle
