Mate that looks sick, loving it, tbh alot may not like it but i love, nice and different, sits really well too, although im unsre if i like the wheels.

The wheels are probably the most commented on thing tbh .. Ive had more petrol station forecourt offers than i can remember ;-)

Is that yours in the pic ? if so what rear arches are they ?

I got the exhaust off ebay and had it fitted at rsr tyres and exhausts in redhill. They are a powerflow dealer and can build anything you want..
Luckily I sold the old resonated miltek rear box for exactly the same amount that the quad one cost me including fitting :) The new one is relatively civilised at low revs but sounds awesome when you open it up..

No mate, i wish.

Its a highly modified s3 with a twin turbo v6 audi lump, ill try and find the car and the company that made it, it looks amazing mate.

very nice mate sits awesome especially on them wheels real mean lookin. good work

yes it probably does need sorting but not too high on the priority list at the moment.. I have my own tyre machine so buying and fitting part-worns is ok for the time being, these ones have lasted ok with no major inside wear

Yep, small strobe modules.. one for the third brake light from ebay and two smaller ones for the red rear facing lights in the doors, thy flash for 2 seconds then have a constant glow. I also found some nice 12 led panels which fit into the door light lenses perfectly and fill the entire lens with light as opposed to the crappy standard ones which only light up 2/3 of the lens.. and dimly at that

Cool, are you going to inters? pics/vid of the strobe lights......

no plans to go to inters .. will get some vids sorted in next few days

Going to be temporarily swapping the rims next week to some grey/black 19" staggered aston martin v8 vantage ones

will post pics after its done .. i'm excited to see them on there but i know they arent going to fill the arches like the oz's

Very nice looking!

sorry for the hijak...but will an audi tt backbox muffler fits in a S3?

i was considering this option when i found a few stainless steel systems on ebay but this one came up in the end and i jumped on it he he

Impressive spec there dude!

Different to the norm which is good :) wgeels I'm not sure about but do make the car look pretty darn wide.

As reagrds to your lights (only just relaised in thsi thread thaey are LED's - you got picture of them in the night lit up?

Nice, engine bay looks impressive :) You done a power run yet ?

thanks mate, got plenty to play with under there yet :)

i have a vi monitor with the correct driver and vehicle combined weight (measured at weighbridge, although i have removed some weight since then but not much, maybe 20-25kgs) and i whenever i do a test i get consistant max bhp readings between 295 and 310bhp .. not saying thats correct but thats what the little gadget tells me :)

I'm a bit nervous about going all out until i get some extra hose clamps on my forge charge pipe.. keeps popping off at both ends .. the other day it popped off at the top and some blow-by juice dripped onto the glowing manifold and flames appeared .. i thought that was the end !! Good job i had some bottled water in the car i tell you !! I have to say the forge pipe isnt a tight enough fit in their own silicon hoses

thankyou muchly .. i will get some pics and vids of the lights and post them up soon

You defiantly aren't the only one with problem with the terracotta pipe popping off. they are a nightmare, forge ones don't have grip recesses for the clips, my OEM one had killed itself, If my forge one gives me much more grief I will buy a new OEM one.

Looks really good. I am very local to you, Nutfield to be exact but have never seen you around. I have a yellow Leon Cupra R.

Did you buy it like this or build it? I ask as I wonder if you could review the difference in performance between stock intake manidold and uprated intake manifold.

What's the performance of this?

Small world i have a house in Nutfield, im on church hill by the hand car wash on the main road. My S3 is often on the drive plotting whilst im at work in the company car.

I'll have to keep an eye out for yours too, I drive up and down Church Hill a fair amount...well on a Sunday, the only time I use the car. You'll hear me coming :p, surprised you haven't.

Uh oh, I better change my route :p. I'll be bombing up that way 8am-ish tomorrow morning on my way to AMD in Essex for some fine tuning, I'll try to creep up the hill so I don't wake you.

Not that keen on the exhaust, it looks good but I prefer the standard twin on the S3 as its subtle. I think those wheels are awsome but cant decide if they work well on the S3 or not, I recon 18's with less dish/more spoke would look better IMO.

You got any pictures of those front buckets mate? Tempted to get a set of bride ones myself as im sort of tryimg to go for the whole jdm/ track car theme. And loosing abit of weight at the same time is a bit bit bonus!

Thanks

The whole thing looks awesome - nice to see the windows aren't tinted. :)

I love the exhaust, thats what ive wanted to do for ages but never seen it on another car to know what it looks like. If they were further apart like the S5 exhausts then it would be perfect.

WOW that looks good altho i think the dish needs to be slightly bigger.... :moa:

will keep an eye out mate, dont go over your way that often tho !!

I bought the car with a few mods already done (some of the expensive ones thankfully), however i did fit the rmr mani myself.. i thought the car felt more urgent with the uprated one, obviously i cant make proper use of the inlet mani until i get a bigger turbo with more flow (which i i just bought woohoo)

hi mate, i understand the exhaust is debateable, however i just dont feel the single side standard jobbie has enough road presence, when i park my car next to my flatmates standard s3 it does make his exhausts look a little puny he he. once these ones have blackened up some more they will blend in a little better i think, i was considering getting the tips changed to some shorter ones tho.. Its funny how some people say they wheels suit it perfectly and some say they dont, for me they take me back to an old rieger poster i had as a teenager of various modded vws and audis all with wide bodies and mega-deep dish wheels.. I'm just living out my boyhood fantasies i guess !!

i dont have any pics of the interior as it is now .. will add some shortly tho (got to give it a clean first hehe)

i probably would if it was possible to have all the glass the same shade, not interested in having just the backs done and makin it look like a van :)

i did have to take the plunge a far as fitting it, if it looked pants then i was going to need a new bumper !! if the pipes were further apart then you would need much more work doing to the rear bumper (moving the original cut-out)

he he if i could find a narrower inner barrel and a deeper dish section then it would be done ;-)

I have got a set of 20" staggered oz futuras aswell, unfortunately its only a set of three at the mo tho

shorter tail pipes would look better, i think its the fact they stick so far out the bumper that i dont like.
