Milltek fitment

Now then, is the fitting for a S4 full system, the same for both manual and auto?

I have seen one for sale, full system but he has took it from a S4 auto cabby. Will it fit on my S4 manual saloon?

I am looking for one for my S4 cab. Think the fitment is the same across the range, thats what the Milltek site infers when I have looked on there.

There's a thread on AudiSRS this week about that (in relation to the system on eBay). Apparently all the S4 chassis take the same fitment; it's only different for autos and manuals.

I would say that whatever the difference, it could likely be fixed but cutting and welding the pipes if you know a half decent exhaust fitter. I have S8 cats on my S4 Milltek, on my 3.0Q. To be fair the cat back Milltek fitted without any issues. I just can't think what would be so drastic about the auto box that it would change things. I guess there must be a valid reason though eh?

I think it's the downpipes and whatnot at the front end.

I'm not sure about that; you'd have to check with Milltek.

I just noticed some of the parts (downpipes, I think) had automatic-specific part numbers.

I found Milltek customer services really decent when I made enquiries about compatibility of a system I bought (unused) second hand. If there's an occasion when you need to check again Rich it's worth sending them a quick email.
