Hi All!

Can someone please tell me if the S3 Logo on the brake calipers can be removed and replaced with a new one?

They seem to be on a plate that can be removed.

Thanks

No they can't. You can paint an re apply one but would look poop. Buy new ones from audi.

No, is it a caliper spring with the s3 logo on it - i need new ones as 4 years of cleaning, wear and tear have worn away the logo.

I believe they are £30 from Audi for the pair.

You can buy plain ones with no logo on them from Seat which go on their Cupra's

Was about to ask this myself. Is there any pics of the plain seat ones? Or part number (assume etka has all vag brands?) Just got some r32 callipers and need some of these

Thanks
Shane

I may be mistaken about the cupra brakes!

Bargain, I best get onto NHN to get me some.

they are utter crap, my car has 13k on the clock and is already showing signs of the decals breaking in small areas....****e

Thanks mate. Never heard of them, but since they are in Cardiff also, I will give them a try.

TPS prob same price as dealers in the main..... stoke Audi are probably the most likely to be the cheapest

I found at the weekend that TPS are now governed by VAG head office which is why discounts apply to how much business you do with them, in other words your ******** unless you order loads off them as they cannot operate a discretionary discount anymore

People I got prices from Tps as I ordered them and theyre £30 each, tts ones are £40 each!!!!

This is a good shout - been wondering about these for a while.

TBH my decals aren't in bad condition, I could do with touching up the calipers in a few places though (corners mainly) with some satin black as the paint has chipped away in places and you can see the exposed areas starting to rust over (last winter took it's toll)

Anyone else noticed this?

make comments that are incorrect on a forum and you dont expect to be shot down?

do you live in clouds?

Lmao! As I say I apologise to u for being incorrect, I can see its caused u a sever amount of stress

You got any pics of yours paddy?

I realize this to be a slightly old thread, so forgive me as I rise it from the dead... but I've seen caliper stickers for sale on ebay. Wondering if they are any good, anyone try these yet?

Although I haven't got a S3, I've used caliper decals. I have applied hammerite smooth black to the caliper, eBay decals and lacquered over the top!
I would take the S3 Spring clip off the car, spray paint it to get a perfect Finish, apply the S3 decal and lacquer over the top. This would probably outlast the original Audi part!

That’s not a bad idea actually... was planning on painting the calipers anyway.
How long ago did you do this to yours? Either way I’ll give it a whirl, and hope it lasts.
Cheers for the tip!
