ASN's Pub

Yeah man. What you need is the dog van from Dumb and Dumber.

You imagine pitching up to pick them up from school in that.... :lmfao:

I can't wait to embarrass my kids when they're older. I've always planned on attending my first parents evening dressed as John Travolta in Saturday night fever, and doing the finger point move as I ask if I can sit down here. (It doesn't translate well to text on a forum, but I think it'll be brilliant).

And in my eyes, that american dude is a genius. My wifes best mates dad is a lover of dressing up, he does some wicked stuff. He is pretty much my idol.

"You ever made love to a man?"
"No"
"You want to?"

I actually just snorted like a pig trying not to laugh at that line! I've never seen that film, but think I will watch that asap. Quality film scene right there.

Are you actually joking?? You haven't seen it?

What about the first one?

Yes, but a LONG time ago. So long in fact that i'd need to watch it again to be honest. I'll download them this weekend and watch them soon though, don't you worry.

Epic films, both of them. The interaction between Lawrence and Smith is fantastic, in both films.

They bounce so well of each other, great casting is such a major point in making a great film.

The other good thing being that they were made 10 years apart means that the second one was fresh, and brought on by popular demand - as opposed to simply making money.

Sequels rarely match up to the original - happily this one does.

Nice one. As said, I'll get them tonight and report back as soon as i've seen them. From what I remember of the first it was brilliant, but as said it was years ago.

Any other classics I should be seeing? As I travel a lot on the train I am always looking for films to watch to make the journey less boring.

Good god, where do we start?

Depends on what sort of films you like I guess....

Massively inappropriate comedy is always a winner, although watching bruno was difficult on the train :)

I like some action stuff, but get a little bored of the cheesy hollywood crappy action films. (if you know what I mean).

My favourite three films are probably anchorman, spaceballs and napoleon dynamite.

OK, have you seen:

Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story.

The Big Lebowski

Eurotrip

Without A Paddle.

All easy watching.

Dodgeball, yes! The rest, no! I'll grab a few of them then. I always enjoy watching films that others suggest as it filters out a lot of crap.

Oh, is euro trip the sequel to road trip? I saw road trip, it did make me laugh a lot. As for american pie's, seen them all. Luckily the wife likes them. :)

Oh and I actually lied, and feel guilty for forgetting, but my actual favourite film is Me, Myself and Irene. Hands down winner. I am hank. :)

No, not related in the film world. A take on a similar idea though. As funny.

Jim Carey is a legend (with the exception of the cable guy which sucked).

Lets be honest, Dumb and Dumber is a classic.

Dumb and dumber is brilliant! I thought the cable guy was ok, but nothing amazing. He actually did a good job as the riddler in that crappy batman he did.

Dude where's my car is quality, the bubble wrap suits crack me up every time.

I currently have Watchmen on my phone, is that any good? I think someone recommended it to me, but I never got round to watching it yet.
