Not happy I've almost done a full days work. Waited for a delivery all day, just as i was packing up tools ready for the off @ 15:00 in stroals the delivery tit ( only 5 hrs late fella but who's clock watching) WTF
Anyway car is loaded and I'm off ;)
 
We went to view a new school earlier,and couldnt believe how hard it was to decide if we are doing the right thing or not by changing.

But decision made,and hopefully the boys will settle when they get in and all will be good.

Think it all depends on the reason for change dude. Only you as parents will know if it's the right choice or not. Sure it'll be all good once they settle in

Thanks mate, the main issue we have will be sorted by the new school,and we have struggled to think of any pluses on the current school over the new one, so therefore logically it is the right thing to do.

But actually doing it made us have doubts! But im sure they will be fine, kids soon make new friends,and they are still young.Its mainly the eldest as he is coming up 6, but has 2 years worth of friends from his current school. My youngest is moving up from pre school/nursery so he would have change anyhow.
 
Anyone else get a shower of ice earlier ?? This weather is fooooked up, mother nature needs to get a grip!

Just off to Butlins at Minehead,i shall miss going abroad and chilling in the sun this year, but hey the kids will love it.Although i am a little excited by the swimming pool and hope the slides are good!

But it didnt cost us anything as we converted Tesco vouchers to pay for it.Was trying to save a few quid to do some decorating,of which we have done 3 rooms so far this year.
 
I went to Minehead for holiday with the family back in 2002 and it was good.
Really enjoyed my self really.
If i'm thinking of the right place, the slides was really good fun. I think I spent most of my time in the pool.

Wife and young daughter - that is the saddest thing - it is sad when any of our service men/women are killed - but that makes it even worse in my mind when they have a young family like that.

My daughters boyfriend is out surfing today with his brother that is back on leave for a couple of weeks. Luckily his is at a lower risk as he flies drones from a cargo container.

Nothing anyone can do, it's just SUCH a waste of a good lad, who was out there fighting a pointless (IMO) war. Now there is a little girl who hasn't got a Dad anymore, and for what?

That's what gets me.

It is a pointless pile of crap war.

I hope I never have to experiance it mate.
I've had friends and family over there and I hope it never happens.

I found something cheery, earlier. There is a house the same as mine for sale in my street(less a conservatory though), and its a far chunk more than i payed for mine just less than 2 years ago!!!

Its nice when that happens.
Before I moved down here I got my house valued at about 40k more than what I paid for it.
That was about 3-4 years ago no, so that figure could have gone down a bit but still a increase.
I just need to sell the damn thing now but my friend who I bought it with does not want to sell it. :(

Yeah i love it, i lived in my last house for about 8 years and made 76,500 on it!! I bought this as a repo and it was a bit over what i wanted to spend but so worth it.

Why doesnt your friend want to sell? Does he live in it? Or can you not get him to buy you out?
