Rover 75-Swirl City

Thought some people may be intrested.

Booked in for a 1 stage paint enhancement. To be honest it needed the megs 105/205 combo but was only booked for a 1 stage so thats what I did.

So was never going to achive full correction but plan was to reduce the swirls and bring back some gloss.

Settled on Megs 205 with yellow 3m pad on silverline Rotary.

Car was clayed and de-tared prior to polishing so paint was nice and clean.

Car was then given a IPA wipedown and waxed with Nattys paste wax.

Gloss restored....Check

Nice, skilled work but for the love of Christ WHY? The detail is worth more than the car, do the world a fav and set fire to the badly counterfeited 5 series that was produced in 1999 when everyone thought the world was going to end and Rover spent the last of the Rover Groups money getting the motoring journalists of the world ****** to earn it awards.

I think Rover is what is an example of what is wrong with the country, ie its OK to not be good enough and lets just take it on the "tik" (loans) and work it out tomorrow.
