I'm not actually in Hackney, but not a million miles away so it's a good guide.
I'm being offered one for £40 pcm right outside my bedroom window. No brainer I guess.

Makes me a bit sick what you lot get for your money though. I've got a two bed flat which cost me over £190k four years ago, and that was below the market value because it only had 68 years left on the lease.
Now add to that +£20k for the lease extension I've just done, and you'll understand why I feel ill.

The only thing that kept me sane was the fact that some of the flats in the same court when for almost £250k. The housing market was mental at that time.

Down here for £190k you can buy any thing from a 3 bed detached house/bungalow to 5 bed semi detached house.

Good job you lot are on a good wage in london. :)
 
Come up' north! £190k will buy you a palace. However, be warned that we do get paid in sheep so it's hard to get a mortgage. We do have electricity now though, and running water :)

56K dial up those were the days - I remember then the jump to ISDN OK 64K but near instantaneous connection, proxy server on our main server with a time out so it wasn't connected all day.

Now have a 27Mb/s FTTC how things have changed :yahoo:

The last email I had about work in london was for about 26k for a 2nd line support role I think.
Plymouth for the same role is about 18k but I have seen some for around the 20k mark last time I looked.

I cheated, a little bit.
I removed all permissions apart from every folder and file (apart from admin).
All I have to do now is to wait for people to phone up and moan that they can't access their folders.
I will then start again giving people persmissions.

haha. I may try use that as a line to give me permission to touch boobies. Although i'm not a surgeon, the camera's we made were designed to look at slag piles :)

I keep applying for it but the misses keeps turning me down for that role and offering me the warehouse job. lol

I had a phone call from HTC yesterday, no idea why they phoned me or what they was after.
They asked if every thing was ok and I said yes, he then started asking me questions about my facebook page I made.
Might nothing but its a little bit odd having a random phone call from HTC HQ.
But my free OtterBox turned up yesterday, my DHD is now even bigger. :)
 
What was the facebook page? A hate HTC page? ha.

As for La Senza, I used always tell my mates that I had applied to the electronics department in Ann Summers after I had finished uni.

Not a hate page just a page for people to show thier frustration at the HTC repair and customer services.

One of their social networking managers phoned me up and spoke to me about the page.
He really liked it but kind of asked me to calm down with the tagging of HTC on out page cause it getting to much their facebook/twitter pages.
Over 60% of the posts on their wall was from us.
After speak to him I recived a new unbranded DHD, which I thought was nice. :)
 
So now you have two phones, or just an unbranded one instead of your original? And that's funny that all the comments were from on here, haha!
 
One for each ear! :) (Unless of course you only have 1 ear, or perhaps 3, and then i'll feel awkward).

Mike, it went ok. the profile was set up around a gym nut with a perfect body and loved him self to much.
It works ok, but I got bored after a week or two and stopped using it.
I'll try and find the details and pass it on if any one wants.

O yeah and women only. lol

I just read through that thread (Sadly locked) and was actually crying with laughter. Sadly I have had such a crappy day do far that I genuinely haven't had time to be on here....
