Any one still stuck in work?

I spent about 5 hours walking around town waiting for my car to be finished at the body shop.
In that time I had this made. :)

I was not allowed the .NET bit cause it was to close to infringe on copy write and I never had the written permission of the site owner to use Audi-sport.net.
But I think it works.

Has the bodyshop sorted it all out now?

I had the leather and metal Keyring when I bought the car.
Always wanted something on but was never sure what.
Walked past the engravers and thought sod it I'll get ASN on it.
£9 and 2 hours later that is what I got.
Not sure Audi-sport is correct for the Audi I drive but it helps separate it from the others. :)

Car all done now.
Asked the guys there and they said its fine to clean, polish and wax the car.
Taking them on their words i'm going to give it ago tomorrow and see what it comes up like.
The washed it before I picked it up and it looked amazing but now its all dry with dirty dusty spots.
Tomorrow is wash, wax and picture day. :)

Home time soon for you mike and dane?
 
Yes mate nearly home time for me,get to come back in the morning aswell which is fun!

I keep meaning to have a day to wash,clay and wax mine, but im really struggling for the motivation to do it. Somehow the car wash seems so appealing,i know its wrong but its so easy!!

Car wash, jet wash or hand wash?
I all ways use one of them hand wash places. Its cheaper than a jet wash and they seem ok.
I don't have the facility at my place to wash :(

Well it is a car wash but they give it a quick spray and scrub by hand first. I dont like using it as i have always done my own by hand, but since i got this car i havent quite found the effort to do it.

Key ring looking good, but the car pics we wait to see over the weekend should look even better!

That looks the nad's dude. I was bored a few sundays ago so did my keys in carbon. That would finish them off nicely
 
Well the wife is good to me!

She is off out with the girls tonight, so today she has bought me beer, jumbo chicken burrito for dinner and nachos and a dip for snacks!

That's just great, mines our for a congrat's thingi with work and iv just changed the dirtiest nappy ever..... and i mean ever

Lucky you! I don't miss those days luckily mine are well out of nappies now.
 
Here ya go. Got some samples in last week and wanted to know how they'd conform, so as you do when bored and wanna hide in the shed..

Did the first one in black/ silver carbon, Still needed a trim on bottom edge though.
Second in black/ grey carbon, matte black half n half.

Not a massive fan of carbon myself but it looks ok, won't be on for long i might do it to match when i re do the motor. Tacky i know lol

I wish.
I was over a mates house having a sneek peak at that and other samsung kit.
I'm very tempted to get one.
Sell my laptop and some other bits and but one when they are out.
 
Off to the great harwood horse show today with the little dude. He has an obsession with tractors at the mo. So hoping there'll be plenty there. Looks like it's going to be a wet one though.
 
We were supposed to be going to towcester racecourse with the kids, but as its ****** raining we aren't.
 
Its back to work day and the weather looks to be alot better than yesterday.

Has any one else noticed the price of fuel slowly dropping?
Its about 1.37 PL for diesel down here now.

It's much nicer today! But then it's my wifes birthday, and in the 10 years i've known her it has been sunny every year for her, lucky ****!

As for fuel prices, don't curse us now...It's like saying that your boiler has never broken. Before you know it, you'll get home tonight and it'll have popped. It's the rule that we can only comment on fuel prices going up.
 
Agreed though! It's down to the likes of asda dropping their prices so forecourts are trying to follow. But they are saying it's putting the small indipendant out of business.
F#*k Em I say.... Get it dropped. I put £60 in this weekend and is on red again!!
 
I spent literally my entire day on COD Black Ops yesterday.

Rainy bank holidays are good in some ways...
 
Well changed my first Window on Saturday - which went very well - so another DIY skill I can tick off, replaced DG units in our hardwood windows before - but this is the first time I've ever change a whole window including frame. Just have the finishing off to do now - so a little bit of plastering.

Back to work now though, not a great deal planned for the day.

So how are the various 8L S3s doing ?

Ive got mine back! a bit of a long hoohaa but essentially the turbo is just not up to scratch so the power is turned down so that I can use it safetly everyday it still feels awesome though.

BUT it's now missfiring and it isnt a coilpack issue so I'm going over to Bills (very slowly) this afternoon.

It's got injector written all over it dude, sounds like one of the jectors not firing to me.
