matt black buddy ;)

Sorry fella not a fan. Think the front end and bonnet looked better in the first photo.
Plus the bonnet will be a nightmare to keep clean, had my bonnet matte (colour it came in) in till i got it painted.
Couldnt wait for it to be sprayed never opened my bonnet really but seemed to get marks/dirty so easy.
But each to their own :) The alloys look like they turned out pretty good. Any plans for 18s or 19s?

Interesting - not my cup of tea but each to their own

i know what you mean by trying to keep it clean . and peoples finger marks are a ****er aswel . but hey its all about trial and error and what better car to do it with eh ?

Sorry mate, just looks chavved up to me. Whats with the blackpool illuminations in the front grille?

I reckon youve knocked 1k off its value now.

Respect for doing something 'different' mate.
Not a fan of the bonnet..what other plans u got for it?? u might find your own niche, I think you should at least get the audi rings back on! Get it lowered too.

More of an oem look. Single grille conversion or put the standard grille back and remove the led lights in the foglights and behide the grilles.
How you lowering the car springs or coilovers? When you get a spoiler only go for the oem ones Votex or S3/S-line one. The cheap ebay ones are sh*t and a few members had nothing but trouble with them and ended up buying an oem one in the end. MY09 or MY11 rear lights are always a win pm Nigel user name NHN he sell's and loads of members have bought them and been pleased with the service. They make the rear look up to date. S-line 8P2 or 8P3 rear bumper/valance is good. There a member selling an S-line valance

I actually really like the bonnet, although I feel the grill needs something to break it up. wheels ++++1

Spend a bit of time in the pics thread mate .Good on you for not being one of the ''sheep''. but come on the lights behind the grill actually made me shudder?
:p

Then again if your happy who are we to judge x

Well done the OP for not getting arsey about the feedback.
I would've said bad things about everyone's mothers.

everyone has there own opinions aythree bud , am here for the help and knowledge and im receiving it might not be good lol but its there

thanks for the advice ash_b much appreciated its getting lowered the cheaper option on springs h&r. the single grille conversion by doing that do you need to change the hood aswell ?

You know mate, its YOUR car.... the value of it is upto you.

it looks like a tidy job and some considerable effort has gone into the job.

As I say personally i think there needs to be some breaking up of the grille.

Good on you for doing something different..... :)

I must be getting old.

Fair play to you for doing mods that you like the look of.
I tend to go with tried and tested things that I know the majority of people like, but I suppose that says I have a weak character.
If you like it, then stick with it. I'd make sure it's not too difficult to reverse your mods when it comes to selling it though.

Hi new to this thread just thought id drop by and leave a comment car looks great justthere is something not right about the grill but each to their own. good on you for doing something diffrent :) ..

Not really a fan dude. Not to keen on the badgeless front grill, that would look ok if you still had rings, and there is too much brightness at front. Just the blue headlights would look good. The black alloys look ok compared to the bonnet.
But it's your car and fair play for trying different ideas.

Oh dear.......poor thing :(

Dodgy black bonnet, dodgy LED strips, grille looks wrong and LIGHTS UP?!?! It's all a big chavtastic.

Wheels look ok though.

Loose the black bonnet, remove the lights behind the grill, smoke lamin-x the headlamps, change the fog lamp bulbs for the whitest you can find to match the headlights and it'll look spot on to me!

I do like the black wheels and the black and blue contrast but keep the black down to a minimum or should I say down to small areas and nit a great whacking area like the bonnet.

not looking to offend but.... :haha:

as long as you like it
