Just wondering what price you would have stayed in at? This is still a fairly big saving compared to RRP

more like £250, i had no idea on their price to be honest £575 is a lot of money for something that wont really make that much difference to the drive (imo)

Depends on how you see it. I see this as completing the car if you go down the handling route. The little difference it makes is confidence in the 4wd system mid corner. I had a little play the other night in attack mode on a corner I know very well, I managed a small 4 wheel drift in my S3, where it would usually go into understeer on the exit of the corner. I have no doubt the Haldex performance controller did it's job there, but you need to be committed to get into this position in the first place!

I don't expect everyone's driving style to be the same, but you really need an open space like a track day to get to know your car a bit better to make the most of this bit of equipment.

I'm serious, please add me to the 'I would really like one of these' list

IMO - you can not turn a haldex into a proper awd system, it's based around a motorcycle clutch, for it to be 50/50 you need to apply at least 50% throttle, so, lets say you put the power on mid corner, you're going to get a surge of power suddenly hitting the rear wheels, which is just silly

now, if the module applied 50/50 power distribution and was smart enough to change it from 70/30 / 30/70 all the time it would be a different story.

please correct me if i am wrong about the extra power going to the rear at 50% throttle

I'm on the "I would really like one of these list" but can't commit to the "Im really going to pay for one of these" list
