Hi, I'm looking for a rear spoiler to fit my 2004 A3 3 door. Can I fit the one of the s line, as I think that will make the car look a bit smarter.

Does anyone know if it's an easy fit or got any links to one for sale?

Any help would be appreciated.

U need to search this forum, your question has been answered many times!

Try eBay if u wanna research 2nd hand pricing

Yes, you can fit an s-line spoiler or an S3 spoiler, they are the same.
To fit you will need to cut off the spoiler's fixing lugs and then bond directly to your tailgate.
Also, make sure you don't buy a sportback (5 door) one as it won't fit.
They are pretty hard to find second hand and usually go for quite a lot of money. Brand new they are over £200.

Best way to get hold of one is to search ebay for 'A3 tailgate' or 'A3 breaking' and see if any have the spoiler still on them and then make an offer.

The s-line/S3 spoiler part number is 8P3 860 943.

Good luck.

Thank you! That's exactly what I needed to know. I found one on eBay, he wants £80 for it but then I'll have to get it sprayed.

No worries man. The price ain't too bad. Just make sure it's definitely a genuine s-line spoiler and not a copy aftermarket one.
Asking the seller to provide the part number should be proof enough.

Spraying should cost you between £50-£100.

It's still attached to the boot atm, so I guess it's genuine! He now wants £100 lol

Apparently someone else is interested too. He's local so I can pick up.

What do they usually go for?

It depends really. I've seen them go for anything from £50 up to about £150.
I got mine for £58 delivered, had a one inch crack in it which needed to be repaired.
They're hard to find so I'd be ok with paying £100. You'll feel relieved when you've got it.
