What does it do for doors and windows? Digital speedo is cool, I fancy this now. As long as the mileage can get changed then I am keen.
 
Who did it? Can you either post on here or PM me? Do they have anything special that most mileage correctors couldn't do now as these clocks aren't really new anymore.
 
Cheers mate, spoke to him and he recommended someone near me to do it, I spoke to him and he was rude to say the least. He thinks that it is impossible to change clocks and was going on about it being different to change a 2004 clock's mileage in comparison to a 2009 clock. Thank's captain obvious... I guessed that.

The end of the conversation after telling him that I know it's possible, he said if he had to change it like a 2009 car it would be £100. But he was not happy about the mod haha I assume it would be the same as an 09 car as the clock is the only thing that is interfaced with?

Any light on that?

I did get a few more functions (selective door locking & auto windows IIRC) when I replaced the conv module but mine was a pretty early revision one. You also get an option to check oil temp though its in a sub menu.

haha no mate not the guy you recommended, he was sound, the guy he recommended, he was just rude on the phone, I always wonder how people like that get any business at all!
 
All of a sudden I feel immense pressure on me lmfao, that cluster better arrive safely with you now as I'm sweating loads :p
 
Nigel could you tell me the PN for the pump as I think I can get the one out of the car that I got the cluster from but I want to check it's the correct one. :icon_thumright:
 
Dont have it in front of tbh to advise, but if its a tdi & the same car as cluster, then it will be the correct one imho.
 
Ok no worries matey, I will have to install Etka and look, the guy I bought the cluster off has a few and wants the part number before he sends it to me. He is also sorting me a K CE module :) Is there any other later modules that I could do with changing?

Also the pump is under the flap under the rear seats I assume?

All this talk about white clusters... gonna get mine done this week hopefully..... Did anyone come across a garage in London that can do it, and charge the 30 min rate?

Is it only Audi who can do it or can independent's sort the swap? There's a pretty highly rated independent near me - Russell Automotive, that I'm sure has VAS will they be able to sort it as I have had work done there in the past.
 
IIRC I think it was a J, if you're thinking of buying that one make me an offer for mine.

Yes its the under rear seat pump we're referring to.
 
Anybody know if an independent with VAS can do this?
 
Use the dealer Rich, trust me, 1 good reason is security of your car, not gonna go into why, should be obvious.

I would like to use a dealer but mike, who isn't too far from me doesn't seem to have had any luck with the Audi's I would've probably tried. Maybe a trip to that one in Brighton near you that did scotties is on the cards, but hopefully someone comes up with a closer alternative before then.

Hence why I made a call, so he could get done down south :)

If you decide to take that route, make me aware 1st, so I can set it up beforehand, all legit, just a certain person deals with it that I trust.

there close to me too but im gonna try get it done at west london audi will let you know how i get on
 
Currently sitting in Brighton Audi waiting for my cluster to be done, fingers crossed because they just told me they are having problems coding it, especially the steering, hopefully it will be ok.
 
Yeah I just made a call to check whats up, think there's a quick meeting tbh mate, but I will make a follow up call, 2 guys I know who have done it before there so should be ok, will check whose on the job today.
