why was he hoovering your roof ?

to be honest you should never hoover a cab roof
and if they didnt come of in the wash a hoover wouldnt move it

as above id not like to do that you stand chance of making it patchy if done wrong

I'd put a thread into the Detailing Forum, there's lot of knowledgeable guys in there who can give you their experiences of what works and what doesn't.

With some photos if you can.

Why o Why take your car's to these two bob crap car wash places. I can't understand why people think that these places do a good job for £5. We ask car owners all the time why use so called hand car wash places, the replys we get are "I have not got the time to wash my car", some folk even say these places do a good job (carzy fools). Think about what these places are using to clean your car's, think about the crap roducts they are using on your car, these places are about doing as many cars as they can. Do people think for £5 they are getting the best shampoo, best alloy wheel cleaner, they use ACID on your wheels for christ sake that has to be watered down 100 to 1. The shampoo they use is like £20 for 50ltrs. I just can't get my head around why people take there £5k - £30k cars to these dumps.

NO NO NO NO NO NO..... Use 303 Fabric/Vinyl Convertable Cleaner We only use this on convertables as this is a grade 1 product (100% safe) . Please do not pressure wash your convertable roof..

I never usually use these armatures because i have a professional car valeter that comes to my house every Saturday but for the first time he let me down because he had a family emergency so off to the "Hand Car Wash" i went (never again).

Can I ask what the guy (professional car Valeter) uses to maintain your convertable roof?
I haven't got a clue mate.

I took these pics this morning. If i buy "303 Fabric/Vinyl Convertable Cleaner" and spray it on the roof will the grazes come out automaticly?

maybe not worth a try

Those marks are scratches, also the roof looks very dull.

I would go legal if that's what happened at you local hand car wash.. We helped out a fellow member who had his car repaired at an AUDI and they made a mess of it, but with our help and alot of letters and phone call's he had the repairs corrected..http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/genera...pairs-audi-sinclair-bridgend-south-wales.html.. But back to the point if they done that to your car you should not have drove away. Ther is no need to hover or powerwash a convertable roof..

Must admit i have hoovered blossom off of mine gently 'with' the the brush attachment

Using a soft nailbrush YES but no to the powerwash.. Try 303 first and see how you get on. The stuff he uses on the roof at the end is the same as 303.

I used the autoglym kit on mine recently, wasnt bad, 2 for 1 I think at the moment at Halfords too.... I did use a whole bottle of protector mind, also cover up EVERYTHING except the roof fabric beforfe you use the protectant its an ar$e to get off glass and paint !

Noticed mine looks better, defo needs a couple of goes with the cleaner bit before you proof it though.
