Rhyso's Posh Golf

Looking at the shape of that package I have no idea!!!

It contains some headlight tinting film which I failed miserably on the weekend to fit :banghead: Will give it another go in the week.....

Also ordered some carbon vinyl wrap to do the lower part of the rear bumper :)

Here's some pics from yesterday's South Wales meet - proof that the sun does shine in the Valleys :yahoo:

Thanks Ash :) No I'm not as I'm in the middle of kitchen refurbishment lol - next weekend is prepping the room for the kitchen going in next week.

Only ordered it Saturday so hopefully see it this week! Though fitting it depends on my (lack of) skills.......

Its going to plan at the moment. Got the builder in today putting in a new ceiling, ready for the plasterer tomorrow. Hoping to have it all done in time for Easter.......

I'll try to. My problem is I start off taking photos, then get stuck, lose my temper and break something, calm down, fix it, fit it and then realise I haven't taken any photos!! lol

I was thinking probably not and then I browse the forum and come up with a wishlist which looks something like this
RS6 steering wheel
Xenons
RNS-E maybe
More power

So much for not modding this car :tapedshut:

Coming on nicely Rhys

Cheers Chris  Hopefully the weather will be decent on the weekend and I'll give it a go at fitting it.......

Cars like yours don't help with your fancy lights, steering wheel and seats - not good for my wallet :tapedshut: Then yesterday you've gone and fitted hoses too!! Stop it!! haha

I thought I'd developed some immunity to modding after my last car but it seems not......oh well, better than ******* it up the wall I guess!

Cheers Fran

Modding is in the blood guys I get the why are you spending your money on that off my parents but my argument is well I don't smoke I don't drink heavy and I don't do drugs :) my wifes fine with it as long as I buy nice things for her and my daughter and the house ;)

i get it everyday in work it does my head in i argue back saying to some of them why do you spend £1000 on golf clubs its your hobby and cars is my hobby so do one lol they dont like it when i take the p back at them

Also... bit behind the times but the wheel bags you bought you dont have the name of the seller at all as the ebay link doesn't work now and I cant find them for anything now!

Those rear sun blinds mate, are they genuine ones which fold into the door?

How much did those set you back and were they easy to fit?

Takes less than 5 minutes to fit and once in you can remove and refit in seconds :)

if it passes the missus test then you know you have done well rhys lmfao

Funny you should say about the 'missus test', my missus prefers my previous motor to my Sportback... Wait for it.. Yes she likes the Astra SRI 150 CDTI XP i used to have.. I've put her straight though and made it clear that she knows NOTHING about cars haha.

Lol. My missus has a much bigger interest in the Audi compared to the Golf. Think she see's the Audi as being much more grown up

Yeah and i think that's why my missus doesn't like the A3 as much as the Astra, in her own words.. 'i like sporty cars not old man cars Aiden'! I'm like, 'i'm 24!!, you mean you like chav cars', so once again this comes around me to telling her she knows nothing about cars.

SRI Astra and an S LINE A3 do not compare in anyway at all, she doesn't seem to understand that lol.

I've slowly educated my missus over the years so thankfully her taste in cars has improved........though I think the real reason she hated the Golf was because I bought it before we bought a house so it meant we had to wait a few more months before moving out of her parents....oops!

Might be easier for you to find a lady who does understand :tapedshut: lol

Nah she's alright is this one.. I'm training her well.. She's decided she's gonna have a TTS at some point in her life..
