Afternoon chaps/chapesses

I may be shot to s*** for this but hey, its nice to know what our cars can do - all carried out on a private road i might add

I had a little tangle this morning with an R plate Scoob, came up behind me sitting on my ****, big fmic on show along with air ducts moulded into the lower bumper trim, as i apparoached two lanes approaching a roadabout i decided to let him go (thinking i had no chance) to witness the usual big bore hanging out the back......anyway, on approach I tucked in behind him to see what mine could do, the next stretch was a good few hundred yards of straight road, slightly uphill..... well, i was utterly shocked but we both nailed it, he had flames popping out on gear changes and i stuck with him well upto the speed limit (not saying what the limit is haha) safe to say i eventually flashed the chap as it was approaching silly speeds, mine was bouncing off the limiter in one of the gears as i wasnt watching the needle, and I also think i started to gain a smidge around the 70 mark (hardly anything though) once we pulled into traffic he waved me up the side and gave me the thumbs up, waving me in front of him.

I am totally impressed with the performance of this car, cannot grumble one bit! although appreciate theres a lot of scoobs out there that will hand me a new a*s* ;)

tbf chaps it was all legal, accelerating up to the speed limit......no dangerous driving (as i wont let it get to that level) :)

Good effort tim. Nice to see you keeping up the usual appearances.

so i was sitting in my squad car,
chilling by the side of the road,
when inspector bobby comes on the radio,
all units be advised we have a 213 in progress,
a souped up scooby and red audi,
seen,
leaving the scene of the crime at high speed,
before i could do my seatbelts,
to give chase,
they were long gone,
s3 sadly trailing behind,
so i went home dejected,
another crime unsolved,
sad and dejected,
get me a tub of icecream,
and surf audi-sport,
see if my question is answered,
good lord!
de-ja-vu all over again,
so i sent them a PM,
asking for license and registration...

errrrrm, yeah slightly patronising and for that reason I won't go into why any of that is 'not' relevant - safe to say though I don't see a law that stipulates it's illegal to accelerate to the speed limit, and for that reason (in the words of Duncan Bannotine) your Ooooot!!
