This problem has been around for a while ,
When turning left off a roundabout accelerating there is what sounds like a metal on metal rumble.
If i cruise off the roundabout its fine, The noise is also there if i turn left at the top of a hill under load, Never happens when driving straight or when turning right...
Ive had the car on a ramp and can not see any obvious signs other than a slight amount of play in the outer cv joint on the passenger side front...
Could this be the problem?

The haldex ?
The noise is from the front of the car , I havent raised the car yet no... what are you thinking??

Was thinking you might have tired bushes/balljoints or possibly the driveshaft?? Although you'd expect knocking, you never know, worth a go lol

Ive bought poly bush's for the front wishbones but thats too much work for the one day i can get on the ramp,
There is only one joint that seems to have any play ... so im going to change that, The front brakes ( tired grooved discs) make a nasty noise now too. but thats an easy fix.
