Hi guys,

Just putting this message up on behalf of ASN member "Bigcheese" whos car was stolen a few hours ago.

Basically some blokes jumped his fence in the back garden, walked straight into the house and took the car keys!

Obviously the police have been informed but if you can keep any eye out for it and either contact the police or ASN member "S3baby" on 07545 273528

will keep my eyes open as im not that far from bexley, will be pretty easy with that plate!
 
Well after 6 hours of searching last night the car is still missing. Police think it's probably been dumped somewhere and will be left there for a few days to see if the car has a tracker fitted or not.

Keep your eyes peeled.

sorry for your loss, hope they find it (or not) depending on the state of it

police can be clueless sometimes and what they are telling you is information that belongs to 1999. gps jammers are cheap and easy to get (even ebay sells them for £20) and that being left in a carpark for a few days is non-sense. just go through insurance and hope you get your moneys worth

Sorry to hear your bad news, but just on a positive note, when my S4 was stolen in February this year the police recovered it 3 weeks later on false plates with no damage and only 47 additional miles on the clock.
 
Message from BigCheese as he is still out there searching in hope that he will find it parked up somewhere.

Thanks to Westle for starting this thread last night while me and BigCheese were on the streets. started searching about 9ish didn't go in till 3:30am and we have both been back out this morning for a few hours.

Thanks for all the support girls N guys.

Cant believe they have the balls to walk in to your house in the daytime and take your keys..

Thanks for your support everyone. Sorry I havnt posted sooner but I been checking every nook and cranny in a ten mile radius.
Still no joy yet, the forensics team came round this morning but could only find a foot print. They really are ******** they walked past the mrs dad who was asleep and took his fags and the spear key and just walked out the front door. We had spend all ****** day polishing and waxing it too.
Any way thanks again just getting some energy back and gonna go back out. I will try and keep you posted
 
So sorry to hear of this. I don't think there are any words that can make you feel any better at the moment. Really good luck on getting it all sorted. I had my wheels nicked once as the car probably wasn't worth the money or hassle of being taken (well I think so) certainly not like an 8PS3. It was very upsetting, not so much the money / value, but just the thought of how I was targeted.

Anyway, the very best of luck fella! Keep ma eyes peeled up this way should it be of any worth.

Just a quick update. still no luck. police aren't doing anything now to find it. they said if they see the car or it pops up on an ANPR they will do what they can but they won't be out the searching for it as it doesn't have a tracker.

Bigcheese has taken the day off work and has broadened his search.

anyway will keep you posted.
 
UPDATE

The Police have arrested a suspect.

The forensic's found a print in the kichen and have arrested aknown toss*r

Still NO CAR at the min maybe they can make him talk.

With the law being how it is, that proberbly wont be enough evidence! Lets hope it is though
 
i hope you get ur car back buddy. go outside ur local nick and wait for the fella to come out follow him round the corner :slap: him and bundle him into a van and then the fun can begin and you can surely get your car back

Shocking how cheeky those lowlifes can be - walking into someone's house in broad daylight!
 
Vehicle theft is getting out of hand now. Not quite the same but.... there are path works being done in grounds of where I live, yesterday evening at 7pm two guys rocked up with a low loader and nicked a fork lift and a steam roller!!
 
Cheers for all your support guys, to be honest I'm starting to give up hope I have searched ALOT! even places I didn't even know existed. Still no joy from the police who have not been in contact to say what's happening to the crim, probally let him go free!!. It just makes me feel sick knowing that someone can just come into your home and take your pride and joy with out remorse. Probally put his foot down and didn't let it warm up properly either. My poor baby is probally on a ship somewhere or in pieces.

Unfortunately this happens A LOT here in belfast - 90% of the time we all know what area's the cars end up and sometimes we are lucky to retrieve the cars intact.

However, the "joyriders" are renound for hoking the bag out of the cars, instigating police chases and general dangerous driving.

For those interested, youtube "divis joyriders" or "belfast joyriding" - it will make you sick with anger towards these tw@ts!!
 
They parade on facebook/bebo as well as our forums - some get caught and dealt with either by the PSNI (Police) or the local Para's but not enough is done about them to be honest.

For a good while last year, it was common to see 2 or 3 forum members putting up "stolen" threads per week and within hours, a youtube video posted up of it being rallied!
 
Haha westle, s3baby is allready taking the p*ss out of me cos his is faster then mine!! So I think it will be first priority not just for the map but for the security on the stage 1+, which I will be using now!!

Well well well! The old Bill called my mate this morning to tell him they have recovered his car nearly a year on!

It was picked up in Slough by a routine squad car last night who thought the plates were a bit dodgy and they ended up in a high speed pursuit after trying to stop it.

The S3 outran the police and the car was found abandoned near by. I think my mate is getting first dibs on it if he wants to buy it from the insurance company but not sure how that works.

Nice to see cars do reappear sometimes ;)

well its some sort of good news i guess. personally i wouldnt want it back after a whole year but then again to buy it back and strip it of mods isnt a bad idea.

Wow from me too !

I also find it annoying that with all the ANPR technology around it isn't smart enough to spot a car with dodgy plates - they can spot a terrorists face with face recognition from space (OK a slight exageration) but not the make and model of a car not matching number plates ...

did it have buckets? if so maybe your mate can get an upgrade for his s or a3 if he has another
