Hi all, I have a 2003 S4 with RS4 front brake conversion, the front wheels are fitted with 10mm spacers to clear the callipers, the rear wheels are standard fit with no spacers fitted.

Do I need to fit spacers to the rear wheels, will it improve the feel/handling of the car at all?
What size spacers do i need to fit, would you go with 10mm to match front or 15mm?
Are the hubcentic spacers on Ebay any good? Seen some UK manufactured ones on there.

Any advice or opinions on this would be appreciated, thanks.

I've been running MTM 10mm spacers F&R for a few years now. Go for the 10's on the rear too it will just balance to look of the car so much :)

I'm sure visually it would benefit with spacers on the rear. The rears always sit more in the arch than the fronts. So with 10mm on the front I'd be definitely go for 10mm on the rear, that will drop the offset to 35. Spot on.

I have 15's F and R - both huncentric and longer bolts

Finally fitted spacers and took some photos, need to address my poor photography skills.

Copy and paste the IMG tag if using Photobcuket, or there's a sticky in the general chat section to help you.

It's funny how the Avus wheels have a 45 offset vs the 43 of the rest of the range (18's).

Looks spot on now though, the 15's on the rear look exactly right. Have you got any pics of the 'whole' car?

Not got any of the car except the ones I took at the police forensics bay, will take some new ones, just need to give car a good clean first.
This bank holiday period would have been ideal, but I chose to machine polish my longwheel base hi roof transit van instead, theres a job I wish I had'nt started.

Ok I get you.

(You so edited that reply between the time I first read it and later replied to it) lol!
