Did anyone find it really hard to buy the correct LED sidelights for the 2010 A3 model? Mine is a sportback 2.0 TDI I've had a look at previous posts which suggest that they can be shipped from abroad- the correct lights to fit the PS19W plastic holder are H16/5202 bulbs however this is a posting about resistors.

I wish I knew this before taking out the sidelights :( My brother snapped the lightbulb pins when removing the sidelights from the plastic holder and replaced it with ones I bought online, the led sightlights actually work. Problem now is the right indicator light on outside won't turn off now. My car thinks that the sidelights are out hence the indicator lights are on.The CANBUS led's dont fit. Other forums suggest using a sidelight resistor like one on this link: LED SIDELIGHTS RESISTORS NO CANBUS WARNING ERROR T10 | eBay UK

if anyone has any sidelights for my model of car please PM me or if you have any advice on the resistors please let me know.

thank you

I found these: PIAA LED Tera 6500K sidelight bulbs Euro cars
'Introducing the new PIAA Tera sidelight LED made specifically for European cars which will bring up a dashboard warning light of a blown bulb if using other LED's.

Featuring calibrated electronics, to enable the Tera LED to become invisible to the on board computer system thus preventing the activation of the bulb blown warning indicator. Superb 6500K colour temperature emits a bright eye pleasing light.

Fitment - Mercedes Benz W203 C-Class (2000-2007), Peugeot 407, Audi A3/S3, Audi A4, Seat Leon MK2, VW Golf MK5, Vauxhall Astra MK5.'

Will check with supplier to see if they fit my model. I am starting to think if I am the only one thats silly enough to have the sidelights changed. should have just left them in and changed headlights only..

They are the DRL too if you haven't got Xenons...

I keep thinking of changing my number plate lights to led but not sure if U can be bothered with the hassle...

Yeh total nightmare I have xenons. Ive decided just to buy a replacement sidelight which has to come with a holder for 23 GBP from Audi Ayr. theyre not LED's though. I hope this solves the problems. I know a lot of hassel for blue coloured lights but all worth in the end!
