s3 Side skirts.

Im deciding if to buy a set of S3 side skirts for my sport back, can some1 tell me the part number and price and necessary parts to fit them?

Also r their n e other alternative sides skirts out there?

Im planning on getting a Leon cupra front lip and will DEF want side skirts to make the car look nicer.

Hope some1 can help :)

Is that £1k buying brand new from Audi? Is that just for parts, or fitting and spraying as well?
 
You could always get them from TPS, that way you'll will be looking at 1K including paint i'd say
 
Blooming Heck 1k? thats a lot of money for skirts and fittings :-S

hmmm, maybe ill just wait around for a 2nd hand set.

Didnt realise itll cost that much.
 
just been googling on votex products and cant seem to find a website or much info on them.

Just found a set on ebay. Is n e thing else needed for them to fit?

Make sure their for the sportback because the ones i found on ebay are for the 3dr.
You also need the bonding adhesive, but i dont know which one.
 
Will, there the correct ones. Votex look smart aswell saw a car with them on at UD. Havent seen a 5 door with them but at that price they are defo worth it.
 
I agree with nathan. The best skirts are unfortunately the S3 skirts and they are expensive!

True the S3 Skirts look better but i think the Votex look pretty smart aswell depends what route you want to go down on this one, Modding an audi is cheaper from what i have seen, Theres a huge market for used parts and alot of companies for parts. My last car nearly everything was special order from dealer or from the states.

I think that the votex look better on a 3 door minus those cut outs of the SB version. They don't look so "add on" imo. But then, I like s3 skirts which do flow better with the lines of the a3...but they're so expensive and my mate says they only make the a3 look more like a square box...and they're so expensive...and the votex are cheaper and less faff...but will people like me if I get them or will I be shunned by other Audi owners for not being a purist? Will I ever sleep at night knowing that my car looks like I've stuck some guttering on the sides?...Please please will someone make my mind up for me cos I can't. And now I've bought an FK grill...Oh f@ck why did I do that...and don't get me started on flippin spacers...MELTDOWN!!!!

Hehe just my view of this modding world lads and how it sometimes makes me feel. I'm sure we've all felt like this at some stage. Not having a go at anyone either just a generalisation and it made me laugh anyway.

Shall I get me coat?

Votex= Fail IMO :p
Get someone who has a TPS Account to buy the parts .Maybe buy a couple of parts each month rather than compromise on quality ?

Lol I'm not really that bad fella. There was some attempt at satire there. It's all good fun though and I do value the advice on here. I'll cancel the taxi for now then lol.
 
haha i know i know just trying to say that you will always get people that dont agree with you and dont let them persuade u otherwise and i totally agree this forum i really helpful only things i dont like is the search as it sucks a$$ and the classifieds section :p

Back on topic for the sake of the OP. A grand is a mahusive amount to pay for bits of plastic thats why I'm keeping my eye on ebay. Mind I'm sure Stoke audi quoted me half that for the 3 door? I could be wrong though...I usually am:think:
 
I've already bought them, once they arrive i will see if i want to install or not. I do really like the S3 skirts, but the price for the votex i cant complain and tbh i dnt think they look too bad.

No. He thinks it's already a square box. Yes he does have a tendancy to talk crap and I pointed out that he drives a rover 25 atm. The conversation sort of ended there really!
 
Tell me about it. I can't believe I have a friend who drives such a car haha:3sadwalk:. In his defence he reckons he's just going through his 'sh£t car' stage of life. Never heard of that stage myself but he takes the slaggings quite well:laugh:

Nice one. Get some detailed pics up when you get them. I'd like to see some for real though as the pics I've looked at don't really show the profile that well.
 
Just read the Votex side skirts dont fit the S line? is this true and if so how isit different to other A3 range?

Im finding it weird too. Bcos i've purchased a set and having a quick look it seems like it fits.
