Scott's A3 Build Thread (With Pics)

i must have the best reps in the world then as ive never had a prob with them no corrosion no buckles lmao , landy wheels have got me thinking tho im guessing they are off a disco

bentleys are mega £££ im sure landy's can be had for alot cheaper than them lol, i would love some bentleys tho i saw some at early edition on a golf mk5 gti and the were:hubbahubba:

My bentleys are not, have a look at the for sale thread ;)

Faces are mint, dishes are not the best hense the price, all they need is a lick of paint and some rubber, and theres a good set up from reps

If I had the money I'd get them straight away. Good price

A set on ebay, one wheel has kerbing, no bentley caps, £924.

How much would it cost to sort them ash ive been texting tim but want my rims pristine, emailed my usual refurber and he said he would need to see the corrosion in the dishes in person. I would want all of this repairing and the fronts refurbed.

Let me know if you can Cheers

My mate could probably sort them out for £200-£300 max and that would be at a push. Plus i'd just moan at him if he wanted to charge me that anyway lol. So say £200-£250 full refurb. I'd have to show him the photos. But i've seen worse alloys giving to him and they look brand new when he gives them back. Normally takes him a day to refurb a set but may take a little long as he would want it perfect.

Ash it wont let me read my messages atm can you email me through hotmail?

For the cost it makes one hell of a difference, just need to make sure i get them put on straight coz ive seen a few wonky ones knockin about. . . . . and yea m8 mine are the downfacing ones, apparnetly the twin tips are only held on but 3 tak welds? so shouldnt be hard to remove. . . . .

yeah very true mate makes a huge difference to the look of the back mine looks so much better now but am going to get some new ones soon as mine are cheapo ones so are ***** lol , that makes it so much easyer to so then and quicker to fit too

without the badges it looks sooo much better, easy to do?
Cheers time will look even better with the wheels on :) yea it really easy just fishing line down the back of the badges to get them off, then i used white spirit to get the rest of the sticky off. . . .
