I'm heading out for lunch in a min, and I am going to go for a walk around Cheltenham Town Centre and look at all the snatch wandering about wearing not much in the sunshine....

I know what you mean mate, I was in Shanghai 8 months ago, and the same sponsor gave me a pass to stroll around the whole race circuit. But during the race weekend, the flight tickets rockets upwards naturally, so some things to think about...

The afternoon is going to be even longer now i have just had my lunch break and realised how nice it is outside!

30mins of sunshine, now i want more!!

I had yesterday off, ish, I had a job interview/test thing and spent the rest of the day in the garden snoozing. 3 day week!
 
How did the interview go? The only thing getting me through this week is knowing all the long weekends coming up!
 
At this stage is was just a quick hello and then 3 hours of tests... multiple choice, if I did alright then they'll look at my application form and my CV. But I think it went ok, made friends with a smokin' hot girl from Poole too. I have 3 days off, 3 days work 4 days off 3 days work 3 days off!
Because I got next Friday off! woohoo!
 
We'd end up whinging about that too lol.

I play at a place called Finmere it's just North of Bicester. Essentially it was the closest site when I was living in Oxford and every one there is hella friendly. Takes an hour to get there on a quite weekend morning. There are some local sites to us, Bristol way I think.

The reason I ask is because my bird's Dad owns these: Tiger Tanks and rents them out, thought it might be an interesting addition.
 
Some sites are amazing though, theres Ucap Virus which is an abandoned 10 story hospital, The Mall in Reading is an old shopping centre. Old factories, Longmoor is an army training complex based on an alpine village (houses, gardens, cars, trains etc.)

If I pass those tests, I get invited to a group test day, if i get through that I get an interview and then I even have to take a drugs test lol.

There was 4 spaces last year and c. 150 people applied this year.
 
Well I'm back this morning. Day in Cradley Heath yesterday, 315Miles at an average of 55.1MPG, good job as diesel had gone up a penny in the time I was up there. At least now I get 45ppm from the company with out having to pay tax on it.

I know the feeling there, I went for a first interview the other day for a job (1 position) which had over 450 applicants.

Hmmmm. Odds are not good!! lol
 
yikes! Good luck dude, is it in Chelters or closer to home?

They are only asking for 5 GCSE's and I have an A in A level Physics and a B in A level Maths, so hopefully that will sway them seeing as its an engineering type job lol, man did I bang on about my car in that application form!
 
Good luck - can't remember the last time I had an interview - worked for myself for the last 17 years and got the previous job by recommendation two years prior to that.

got any thing planned or just going to enjoy the time off?

It would appear i'm working most of next week but I do get alot of extra days off which is worth it.
 
I didnt get in quick enough, but the car's at badger 5 for a full hybrid set up which is exciting.

You knows it, just walking round the house making car noises and the odd 'ppssshhh' It's an exciting time, especially with you figures coming up.

Can't wait to hear the stats after that.

I've got the 3 days off and will be a mixture of maintenance round the house getting out an about walking and cycling and fixing the car tuesday evening.

I have an Innotec kit to clean the turbo, a set of Forge Boost Hoses and new drop links to go on whilst it is up on the 2 poster.
