Newbie with my first ever Audi

Hi,

Thought I'd drop in here to introduce myself.

11am this morning I just picked up my first ever Audi (though I've driven hundereds in the past) - a 2002 A6 2.5tdi Avant Quattro 6sp and proceeded to put 100miles on it having a lovely drive around in the sun today..

Very happy with it, even tho there's a few niggly things that need doing, but I'll pick the brains of the experts in here in due course for that one.

Yeah, I'm really impressed, tho I have to admit that it certainly doesn't feel like 180bhp, my 155 Mondeo felt 'quicker' but this definitely feels a lot heavier, when you're behind the wheel..

Desperation.

I needed to change cars before the MOT ran out on my other family car, and this one just got listed less than 2 miles up the road from me. The only other ones I could find for the same price were either knackered or Auto...

Haha fair doos wouldnt be my first choice, glad to hear your enjoying the ride though, any mods in mind or are you sticking to standard?

I'm not too fussed about the colour, and I couldn't afford to wait for a black or silver one that I'd have preferred.

I don't like Auto's and so I was really limited.

Plans...? hmmm, in an ideal world I'd go for a remap as I'm used to quick Japanese cars, and maybe some nicer wheels, but I'm fighting all those urges at the moment... ha ha.

You should never rush into buying a motor m8 but hopefully you will have no problems. . . . . yea word of advice dont read around this site too much or youll find them urges even harder to fight haha ull be catching the modding bug!
