Right at the moment I currently use the clip in plate surrounds to allow me to switch between my pressed road plates and my show plates, but Imo they look pretty naf especially on the front. Now trying to figure out a better option, velcro isn't really securest of options thought possibly something with some high strength magnets (use them in my bootbuild and they are very good) stuck to back of both plates and then some mounted where the plates will sit.

But wondering what others use? or if you can think of any other solutions

Thanks
Shane

Personally I don't like any form of plate surround or holder especially the ones with dealer names on them. I don't like seeing plate fixing screws either so, as I never need to using other than my normal plates, mine are stuck to the car using pads of sticky tape.

I've always used velcro on mine, never had a problem with it!
I dunno don't really trust it especially when damp personally.

Yeah but I need mine to be interchangeable, I actually contemplated getting a second front plate holder and swapping them but still leaves me with dilemma on the back

I sell a few different designs of audi surrounds and various fixing kits.

They are all gel coated, a bit different to what is normally out there. Plus the lettering wont fade or wash away.

Proper Velcro disks, not the stuff your mum uses around the house mate! It will stick something 10times the weight of a number plate, wet, dry, whatever

Where would you buy these velcro disks smoothie,i might look into supplying these also.

Bought some of the high strength ones from halfords in the end, so will give them a try. Maybe a stupid question bu cannot seem to get show plate to bend to match the curve on the front of the car any tips? Maybe heat it up then hold it in place til it cools down?

Thanks
