STOLEN WHEELS - Keep an eye out!!

Boys and girls ladies and gentlemen, I came back to my car after work in Manchester and found my car like this:

Broad daylight my wheels have been stolen. They are 18" Staggered BBS LM Reps. 8J front 9J rear, with BBS 3D carbon effect centre caps

5x112 fitment, running 225/40 budgets all round. Believe it or not I don't even know what tyres they are, but they are cheeeap!

The front left wheel was curbed very recently, and should be obvious to anyone looking at them.

If you see them advertised anywhere, please don't enquire as to where they came from, instead, please just PM me, and I'll inform the police.

Thats just wrong man, very wrong, but have to ask, didnt you have lockers fitted?

Had locking wheel nuts, but useless against people that know what they are doing.

True.. I'm pretty gutted to say the least. They are only a month old.
 
This is true tbh, they probably have a whole load of keys for them & I bet they had a looksy before the day they removed to check what locking system it had, boils my **** tbh.

Its making us frightened to own a nice car now, not cause we'd scared to get hurt, but we dont want the expense that comes along with car theft or attempts.

Broad daylight aswell, that's just shocking! If the car's not safe in broad daylight, it doesn't have a chance in the middle of the night!!

Ive had a few probs recently chased 2 lots of people off in the early hours in the past 6 months

My friend owns a big security company so ive invested in some high quality cameras now

Thats the prob with lockers most u can just bang a socket over the top thats why i run 2 on mine..

Hopefully you will find them soon....
 
i rearly don't see the point in this. where abouts in manc you get them stolen i normaly go the meets up there on a friday night will have a look to see if any 1 has your wheels m8.

i thought it was bad enough them stealing wingmirros of the s3 but now wheels and you had locking nuts not much more you could have done m8 other than slam the car so they carnt get a jack under.

I'm always up around Trafford / Eccles on a friday night, so I'll be keeping an eye out. I think if it was anyone who goes there, would recognise the car they came off though.

I'll be keeping an eye out on ebay / wheel whores / gumtree / PH etc.
 
Disgusting! Sticky fingered inbred scumbags should have their fingers chopped off. Leeches to society :-(

Hope you find them and hope even more you issue a suitable punishment.

Thanks man.. funnily enough the first two, of those final three, where taken the night before they were stolen.
 
Scum. At least they weren't genuine BBS', but still gutting.

The police probably won't do anything even if you do know who took them. Best to try and get them back or make them pay without involving them.
 
gutted for you, absolutely nothing worse when you work yer *** off, take pride in something and scumbags just run around doin what they want when they want. disgusting.

Nothing ot report.. the police can't really do anything about it, and it's not worth claiming as my insurance will go up by double the price of the wheels anway.

This happened to an 07 S5 10 seconds from my house 2 weeks ago, they didn't even leave his car on bricks they just dropped it on the road.

I have been so paranoid ever since. I wake up at ever little noise.

Scum bags, you just cant win. I would love to find out who did it, a wheel brace, will get you your wheels back and i dont mean for using on wheel nuts :keule:
 
Just read this thread and im sorry for your loss fella, its really is discusting! Its got me a little paranoid about my wheels now, i was thinking can you not buy a set of 4 different lockers for the each wheels that is different to the standard, therfore if theives had standard locking wheel nut they would also need another to get the other locker off. . . . i propbly made that sound more complicaed than it is but anyone have any ideas?
 
I feel really bad for you mate, these twats know they can get away with it and no theres nothing we can do. The Police dont care, but even if you cop hold of the scum that did it you do something to them then you get done we cant win. Its a losing battle for us now these scum know how to get past the locking wheel nuts with ease, especially as people like :banghead:Halfrauds sell (locking wheelnut removal tools) and there only about £25 seems like whats the point in having something nice. Anyway rant over I hope they turn up dude
 
Didnt realise people bothered nicking wheels anymore. That sucks they nicked yours, buts it's true, you would have been even more devastated if they had been genuine with decent tyres. True about the lockers, removed them myself and isn't too hard, but some are harder than others, may be worth investing in better ones, to deter the semiskilled pikey
 
this is why i cant wait to move. my estate aint the best at the moment but when i move i will have a secured underground car park to leave my car in. Will help me sleep at night

Keep an eye on manchester gumtree, lots of wheels end up on there!
