Cam somebody tell me.....

if i was looking at a car i was interested in, i would ring audi and check with them, i personally wouldnt buy a carwhere they were not factory fitted. audi would be able o tell you if that car came with xenons or not. the reason i would check with audi is i wouldnt know the difference between HID's and xenons.

as for looking yourself, xenon lights give off a much whiter light than normal headlights, which give of a yellow sort of light.

oh i just see you already have a 3.0 cbriolet, i am sure there was a thread on here a wile ago, with a link on it where you could enter the codes thats inside he owners manual that come with the car, you enter the codes and it tells you what factory options your car came with

thanks cabbyfan, i just looked for the thread with the link for the options codes, you saved me the shame of saying i couldnt find it lol:blush::blush::blush:

Pretty sure if it has factory fit Xenons it will have pop up headlight washers to :)

Thats what I'd always go by too, impossible to tell the difference between well fitted HID's and oem xenons short of taking the headlights out!

headlight washers are a giveaway

Thanks all. The reason I want to know is that my S4 has a fault with xenon range adjustment, and was going to take the module out of the cabby and try it on the S4 to see if that solved the problem, before coughing up £190 on a new one. SWMBO is out in the cabby at the min will have a look when she gets back :)

I've got spares from a set of xenons I butchered to make my lights, is it just the height motor thing you need?
