New Site

Right now the scroll bars are gone chaps, any chance getting thanks system back as was please & our thanks received/given reinstated Mr Administrator?
 
Hi No sorry the thanks have gone forever..... This is due to having to upgrade the VB to the lastest due to the hacking that was going on. The addon that we were using won't work with the later versions of VB. So sorry but no... But at least you don't have scroll bars any more :) a little bit of yin and yang
 
Ok, so are you saying there are no back office options for which thanks system we use, tbh having just thanks is the easiest & convenient feature, cant that at least be trimmed down instead of likes/dislikes or is it all or nothing?

This server busy is happening allot now guys.
 
It would be nice to see web links in a different colour to make them more prominent.

I think I have found a use for the dislike button :) Yep I can see the serve loads are getting a little to high will do something about it in the morning
 
Any colour thats not black like the font! Red/Blue/Green etc .... :)

Ok it's a different colour :) not sure that it's the right one yet but we can always change that later :) you lot sort out what you want (a part from aythree who can #ffffff off :) yes I know sad html joke but if you had to look at the css for this long you would start to lose the plot as well....

Is it just me or is it still happening to everyone else ?
 
Right now i am getting peed off. I just did a large post about sorting server to busy and when i click post...i got server to busy, use back button and my post has gone.
Simply can be bothered to start again. tried 5-6 times this afternoon to get past server to busy
 
Thats happened to me a few times this evening too. DON'T hit the back button, just keep refreshing the page a few times, and if that still doesn't work walk away for 5 minutes. When you come back and hit refresh again it will probably work, and the post will be updated.
 
I always highlight what i've just typed and then copy it to clipboard before trying to post it.
It's a good habit to get into for forums, emails, etc.

Good thinking batman ! I'm pretty ****** off at the moment - is this temporary or are we going to be stuck with it ?

The site is almost unusable at the moment.

Thanks for the PM informing me of the forum rules to do with my signature items for sale and wanted.

I wonder why only now you have noticed it and not the many moths before.
I also wonder if i am the only forum member to have this PM from your self or any other mod, when many other members have items for sale, wanted and over sized signatures.
Do you not like it when people speak out of line?

EDIT:=- O great, you removed all the other posts. This now seems a bit out of place. O well. At least I vented.

You should have left the post so you could see how many people are disgusted by your comment.

I will post a new thread suggesting your removal from the site. Hopefully enough people read you disgusting comment to back me up and if not then I will repeat what you said.

You cannot hide behind being a 'moderator' and deleting your posts if and when you want.

Anybody reading this, please respond accordingly.

I kind of agree with you.
I agree he should he should have left it and he should have apologised.

I do not agree with you on removing him from the site, possible a bit harsh.
Removing his Mod status yes but not removal.

On reflection the post was out of order so I deleted it yet you want to carry on.
You want to make it a crusade to have me removed from here then you go ahead mate,I'm sure I won't curl up and die.

oh and if I wanted to 'hide' I would ban you and remove your post but if you feel the need you carry on.

Nothing wrong with selling in your sig mate. Leave it as is..
 
So what are the actual rules on this then, cos I've been pulled up on it too before. And funnily enough, it was after a disagreement as well.

It's amazing what you can fit in 400 x 125 pixels, the site legal signature image size.
