Oh, and a part number might be of help also
Cheers

The repair kit is about £8 from Audi. I got a couple for facelift calipers a while back.

Il give them a buzz in the morning. Do i need any special tools to fit the seals or would you recommend a specialist do it?

Seals kit was actually £12 from Audi last year.

No special tools other than a calliper wind back tool required. Think there is a good write up somewhere here - AudiWorld Tech Articles . Can't find it at the moment though as the web page doesn't allow my stupid phone to get the drop downs from the menu bar. Think you need to look under Resources.

Ordered a repair kit from my audi dealer. 23euros. Hope it works. Although im quite enjoying my bicycle at the moment. Il keep you posted
cheers

Dam kit is for the pistons only. My issue is with the seal around the hand brake mechanism.....
The supplier said thats all that was listed... Any suggestions?

bigg red do the seals for the handbrake mechanism, its pretty tricky to change that though, you need to mess around with circlips and big springs on the handbrake mechanism.

New caliper from audi over here is 215yoyos. Think il ring audi in belfast and get a price in sterling...**** it, if its a bit chearer i might just buy it. Saves alot of hassle just swapping old to new...

You could try the Brake Supermarket.
I've used them for bits and had no trouble.
It would be a good idea to get the slider seals done at the same time - cost about £10-15.

Priced them in belfast, 150euro all in, genuine audi units... 215euros in dublin. Sum difference eh?? Anyways, im gonna go and buy them up north... Many thanks lads...

complete calipers.

brake supermarket should do them, or find a local motorfactors.

if i went to any motor factor over here.. id be told"main dealer only".. These guys arent helpfull over here... Bit behind you guys when it comes to cars and tunning..
