The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.

Anyone else getting this message ? Even when its not busy early hours of the morning im constantly getting this message ...its a little frustrating lol
 
Been getting a lot of that this morning too.

Even trying to post this message.

yep all this morning aswell took me 15 refreshes to be able to make this post
 
But it's still a fault of AS.net surely for not having sufficient server capacity? I've never had this problem on any other forum i've visited.

Yeah this is true. Stingy ********, lol.

Though I know a lot of forums ask for payments for membership etc. But I think since ASN has like 14,000 active members, they must make a canny bit from advertising.
 
I get the same problem too, but at least when it's working, it's a lot quicker than it was before, so improvements are being made.
 
That is true, the new site does seem a lot better when it works. Just a shame we are getting the same server busy errors.

One thing i'm not keen on is the scrolling posts that some have. Notice the first post in this thread, you can scroll in it. Is this a fault or a new feature? It's a pain when scrolling down a page as you get stuck scrolling in a post and have to move the mouse away.

I want my "thanks" total back!

And I want the "thanks" bit at the bottom of the post as noticable as it was before.

And I want it to show ALL the "thanks" received for a post, not just the first few and then "5 other people have thanked your post".

And I want the old 'wink' smiley back ---->

Aythree just sounds so dull, that extra 'e' made all the difference. I also notice under your name it now says "Edit this if you are gay"...did you do that?

Naughty mod's altering our stuff. :angrymod:

I felt it was time to grow up, and the extra 'e' made a mockery of the new mature me.
I consider asking for a capital 'A' as well, but felt I should take this 'growing up' thing one step at a time.


As for the "Edit this if you are gay" statement..... It was me who did this. But only in response to a funny mod who has tampered with it numerous times over the past week or so.

I have my suspicions of who that mod is, but I will wait until they have been snared in the trap I've laid before I divulge any information on who the guilty one is.
 
I'm going to now dislike all of your posts for being an old man and trying to grow up. I'm intrigued by the trap....hopefully they fall for it. :)
 
I see the dislike, like and thank buttons being taken off us. It's clear to see that we will act like kids and use them to annoy each other :)

EDIT: Done it. on your last post crazy. Its a 'like' with passion! Its even got a heart icon.

EDIT again: It says "you like this". As in 'me'.
Can you see anything on the post or is it just for the "liker's" benefit???

EDIT: That was more difficult than I imagined. I kept trying to click the 'unlike' of the image I posted to show what I saw.
I damn near started a thread complaining that I can't 'unlike' a 'gay like'! :faint:
