S3 and TT vents

These appear to be very popular mods on here and something id definately be interested in.
From what ive read there are a few different types, does anyone have pictures of the different options? Also, i was parked next to an 08 plate TFSI yesterday that had the S3 rings - are these standard on this model or would they have been a modification?

definately would like the S3 vents if possible - if not then the MK2 TT vents! Not a fan of the Mk1 version - dont think it would suit my car at all

mk1 tt vents dont quite fit anyway, the connecting pipes are too short as far as im aware, the mk 2 tt's are the the best option, the S3 metal is a bit tin foil (why i changed them over to tt's)

In terms of price what's the going rate for both the Mk2 TT and S3 ones?

i've got a set of Mk2 TTs in my car. they look

all 8P3s have the "S3" silver vents. no offence to S3/8P3 owners but i think they look GASH. i'd swap them out for the prefacelift ones even

I tend to agree, S3 vents looks like someone has sprayed their rings with some light silver metal look spray paint - very cheap.

Couldnt agree more, S3 ones look like they have been painted. They are also now standard in all facelift A3's so the TT ones look more special.
