S-line bumper / standard bumper fog light compatibility

Hi guys,

Not long bought myself a 55 reg 2.0tdi sport A3. Already sourced a few new parts, one of which is an s-line front bumper. I have searched the forum and realise i need to buy new fog light grills, however i wanted to know if the foglights themselves can be taken from the standard sport bumper and fitted into the s-line bumper with the new grills?

Pretty sure you will need new S3/S-line foglights. PM Aythree he was doing the same conversion so he will 100% know.

Ah right, thought i read somehwere that i would. Did you buys yours straight from the dealer or know anywhere with a reasonable price?

im looking to do this conversion too, if there is anyone who can type a quick list of exactly whats needed to buy to do it i would really appreciate it.

100% the fog lights WILL NOT fit. they're not even the same shape. look at pictures and you'll see what i mean

As said above.... sport and s-line fogs are 1000000000000000000% different.

I'll be posting a thread for my conversion at some point today with all part numbers, info about sport/s-line shared parts, and other things I noticed when doing mine.

purchased mine off ebay mate. paid about £50 for the pair
