See some pics on here of the famous badger tip but can't find them for sh*t does any know wot the post was called???

worth noting, cecils has some extra parts to try and help him fit it to a non-esp motor..
(longer hose to go onto n75 and 16mm-19mm straight reducer, and coupler and clips to suit)
 
do you do this tip for a 1.8t quattro or s3 only?

how much for mine engine code is ARY
 
This particular one is K04 only so Mk4 chassis cars TT/LCR and S3...

hmmm.. its only possible with other work to accomodate a larger TIP..
with the k03 hybrid I am doing on the Lupo, which runs K04 hybrid internals, very similar to wellys 338bhp turbo, but in k03 fitment, it needs a 3" TIP, and to accomodate that, a water pipe needs to be modified, and gear shift cables shifted.. Work in progress when I get time (which is not lately) but should be an interesting project/development for those with k03's who want 300+bhp bolt on (ish) power.
 
Surely if the forge one fits on to a K03s, you could get one to fit without too much trouble? Or is this me being mechanically naive? :think:

lol, you are kind of missing the point..

my tip for k04's is full 3" to the turbo... unlike any other tip currently available. thats its whole point, and why it makes gains over and above every other tip out there, including silicon tips.

there are silicon tips for k03 much like there are silicon tips for k04 also, BUT, their bore is small. K03 sits lower than k04 and is obstructed by water pipe and gear cables to put a larger bore tip, to the turbo is not possible. not without moving some other components as mentioned.
 
Sorry bill, misunderstood what you had put! That's fair enough then, I was just wondering if you hadn't done a k03s tip due to a lack of demand, or it not being feasible. Seems it was the latter
 
demand would be high but unfortunately space is not there for a bigger tip without getting creative like i am going with the lupo, which wil get a 3" tip... but i dont think many folks would be prepared to do the other mods req'd
 
Ah well, sounds like a lot would be needed to get one of your tips onto my K03s, which is a shame. Looks like I'll be giving Mr Forge some more money...
 
Mega impressed with this bolt on k04 tip from badger5, if i still had my k04 mk2 20vt id be lookin at that without a doubt. Another great product only made possible from the dedication to performance from bill.
 
hi guys, i currently have a samco TIP on my s3, do you think it would be worth changing to a badger 5 one? would there be much gain? im thinking there would be but just thought id ask. thanks

HOW DID CECIL GET ON WITH THE 3"TIP FOR NON ESP. LOOKING TO GET TIP SORTED FOR MY NON ESP APY ENGINE. JUST WANTING TO FIND OUT IF TIP IS OK WITH EXTRA HOSES TO FIT NON ESP. CHEERS
