Hi all just a quick question about the A3. My S-Line comes with 2 badges on the side of the car but not on the front grille. Is this because of the type of my grille or has the previous owner removed it. I'll post a pic to help things along.

They no longer do. I believe from 2009 onwards the grill changed. I think they look better with an sline badge just haven't got round to fitting one yet

i agree no idea why audi stopped doing that prob to save money like they only put tdi on the back now not 2.0 tdi

Ok thanks guys. Does anyone have an eBay link for a grille badge? Thanks.

I bought one from awesome gti. Type it into google. It's definitely a genuine badge and they are really helpful up there!

Ps annoying that Audi still fit a Quattro badge but not Slines

As said they stopped fitting when the model was facelifted... It was to bring it inline with rest of the Audi range as they have the badges on the wings to and not the grills...

I've got the same as you diamond and i want to get one put on aswell, just rang my dealer and spoke to someone and they said that the badges dont fit on the new grills anymore but by the looks of it they clearly do!

Did you fit it yourslef?

Yes I did it myself. Very straight forward to fix really, the hardest part is fixing the clips which go behind and be careful not to drop the clip behind the grill or you will lose it. Took me about 15mins.

Think I'll just glue mine on like N8 then use bond breaker wen I wana take it off

when i had mine on there (even tho its not a s-line) the shame :sadlike: lol , i used some thin double sided tape like used on badges etc... just heat it up with a heatgun/hairdryer then stick it on mine didnt move one bit in two years it was on there even good enough when i had the jetwash full on it to clean it just my 2p worth :)
