As the title for this thread what is it? There is 2 button on the side when I open the drivers door, I havnt touched it yet xD

The one with the key/door on it? It's so you can lock/unlock the exterior door handles from inside the car.

Edit: Oh, those buttons...

If they are what I think they are one turns off the internal alarm and the other disables the tilt alarm. Eg turn the internal alarm off so you can leave the windows down on a hot day. Turn the tilt alarm off if your jacking the car up.

May be wrong sure someone else will confirm.

you did good not touching it
i never would

what slade777 siad

One is to turn off the interior alarm and the other is to disable the 'tilt' alarm that is there to warn of towing away.

Please read the handbook which tells you the details !!

Thanks for the quick reply, I was trying to look for it and couldn't find my answer, and one last thing is there a button inside the car to unlock the boot?

Nope not on mine just on the key and obviously touch handle
On the boot.

dont think there is on any model i may be wrong but ive never seen one

Iirc theres a slot on the inside of the boot lid you slide the key into. Never used it, but it looks awkward to reach.

Underneath a plastic cover plate on the boot lid liner centrally above the catch. Remove the cover and you will see a white plastic circle. Insert screwdriver into this and lever to the right. Boot will unlock.

This applies to my 2006 sportback so can't comment on other years or two door models
