What are people's opinions on these? Will be going on a sport back.

Discuss...

They don't look to bad on a 3 door but not that great on the Sportback... Just my opinion though!

Not everyones cup of tea but I fitted some at the begin of this year. They're made by Climair. I bought them for £52 (3dr). Very easy to fit - they go into the window channel.

Sportback set of 4 are £82

I have them and there one of the best purchases i have made,in the winter you can leave the window down a few mm's under them and the car doesnt condensate as bad or at all or in the summer you can do the same letting fresh air in without the alarm going off, plus you can also have your windows open while you wash your front screen without the water running round the 'A' post and on to the interior door trim, mine cost about £35 for the team heko ones

I bought the team heko deflectors for my Sline 3dr, defo would recommend them to anyone with a 3dr, not too sure about the 5 door though :/

anyone with a SB got any and any pics? on an ibis would be even better

defo a major design fault eh im supprissed the window switches dont short out from the water dropping them all the time whenever you open the window lol

its normally my arm that gets soaked might go for those ebay ones posted below for 25 not much to loose

i have the team heko ones on my sportback the fronts fit ok but if you have power fold mirrors they squash the deflectors slightly
and the rears are a crap fit not quite long enough if you ask me!
get what you pay for wish i had got the farad or climair now!

Thats my Ibis, the rear ones arnt there anymore as one blew off at 70 on the motorway!!!!

Bag of poo fit and emailed the suppler but there ignoring me. not happy at all.

Climair are more expensive but definitely worth the extra money. I bought them on my Climair membership for £52. Best ones out there - T.U.V approved (ISO standards)!! :noway:

The Team Heko ones on my 3rd couldn't fit any better, they also look darker than the other ones in the 5dr photos. Would defo buy them again!!

yeah the fronts are fine, just the rear as they have no angle to fit too are just too loose.

second that apart from the power fold mirrors squishing the fronts
rears are a pretty bad fit they are at least 1/2cm short maybe more to fit the rear windows properly.
my advice would be to buy climair or farad ones!

I am thinking of getting this too. I had them on my old civic and they look great. On A3 is alrite but I think I will get them.

I really liked them to start off, looked good and helped prevent "The A3 Shower" in the mornings.

However...

If you have a 2012 A3 like mine with folding mirrors they do not work. Mine go up rather than simply in and push against the deflectors quite a bit when folded

They are noisy as feck when doing above 40/50mph.

They get really dirty and look pants quite quickly.

For the above reasons I took them off last week.

I've got some Team Heko ones i've had for about 6 months which are going on Ebay soon so if anyone is interested Pm me.

I have OEM ones fitted at factory on my Sportback. Was thinking of pulling them off to give the car a smoother look.
Havnt heard of anyone fitting them aftermarket before!

Here are mine, climair, finally arrived :)

Positive: can drive with open windows and not catch the cold od headache, and it looks cool
Negative: cannot fold mirrors any more without damaging either mirror cap or deflector

I'm leaving them on.

How to get rid of the climair sticker though?! :uhm:
