Bill does sell Forge TIP's but the 3" TIP for the S3 is his own design....

The hardest part i found was when trying to do up the 2 grup screws on the adapter. We found it easier to position the big screww towards the front of the car and the small one at the back because there's more room behind the turon to get a tiny allen key in the small screw.

Anyway it'll make more sense when you get to it. Use washing up liquid on the 2 big silicone pipes to help get things in the right place. Dont put any on the adapter end though.

Cheers Westle how long did it take to put on mine is APY non ESP so dong know whether it will be alittle bit trickier

The J Valve is F@@kin well gone Dave caused nothin but problems mate.... :banghead: Think it had something to do with my map as well

Get my TIP and cone, got one of them Decat pipes off robsri get my polybushes on and that's me finished all done..... Apart from some more Red Silicone Pipes...... I'm hungry for the silicone now I've got a few red bits under the bonnet:rock:

whats thies badger5 tip, k04 etc all about ?? what sort of gains does it give? how much are you looking at? how hard is it to fit?

Better than oem turbo intake pipe, more air flow equals more bhp ....... Search the threads

Very worthwhile mod, I can't wait to get mine!

Ok mate, Badger 5 is the user name of Bill, A VAG tuning specialist from this site, who has designed a 3" TIP (Turbo Intake Pipe) that allows much more airflow.

A KO4, is the type of turbo fitted to the Audi S3, Audi TT and Seat Leon Cupra R with the 1.8 turbo engine.. The Audi A3 and other lesser powered 1.8 turbo cars use the Ko3 and Ko3s turbos.

The Badger 5 TIP and a Jetex cone filter has seen gains in some cars as much as 20 bhp.

You're better off calling Bill at Badger 5 or sending him a private message for a price.

And finally, fitting. If you know what you're doing with cars, it's a piece of p*ss to fit, just take your time. Some trimming and chopping is required, but if you take your time, you can't go wrong. I'm sure someone from this site that lives near you has fitted one, so if you ask them nicely they might just come and lend you a hand :)

Hope this helps

Ben

No worries pal it's what were all here for ;)

Ahhh in that case then, you have a KO3 turbo, so you can't have a Badger 5 TIP... Yet... There's a rumour I've heard that Bill is working on a design for the KO3.. How true this is, is another thing lol

The only thing available for your car TIP-wise, is the forge silicone one. If you're desperate, get the forge one and buy a Jetex cone filter or similar :)

Ben
