Right I fitted my coilovers on the rear and they are set at the same height but one side is lower than the other and the camber is different even though they are both set the same what could the problem be?

Also I have a rubbing noise comin from the rear now but it's not touching anywhere

Would I be mad in sayin that u need to adjust each one differently to be the same all round?

Set the rears up and take a measurement from the ground (level ground)to the lip of the rear arch and adjust , as long as all messure the same you should be fine. Use this company for the wheel Alingment .www.AlignMyCar.co.uk as you will need all four wheels done.

Cool thank you. Also the springs on the rear have a couple of coils touching. Is this ok?

Gavlar how low is the back

Well one side is lower than the other and it is really low. Top of the tyres are in the arches. Tried adjustim it up but didn't really seem to do much. Think I may have to wait to see what Amd Essex say on Thursday

Are these the KW Street Sports you've bought? If so, hows the ride on them? I know it may not be great with one corner lower than the rest.

Just had a look up the near side arch and it looks like it's touching the plastic inner lining. Could this cause a rather loud noise? And it seems to go when cornering left.

Yes that will. You must be low then?

Yeah it is plus the camber is out at the top on that side even though I have adjusted it right in. Well if this is the problem it will all be sorted on Thursday once it all fitted and aligned properly :)

Good luck with it. I have been without my car for over two weeks now as i'm having a few thing's done one of which is taking the plunge back into coilover's, the report's i have had back so far from the guy's doing the work is that the rear of the is looking nice and low, i have asked them not to adjust the coilover's as i like to do this myself. The front should be 40mm lower as i have set the hight on the front's.

Why is it taking So long. And how do you know you have set them up to 40mm?

It's not taking long to do the suspension or anything like that it's i just have not had a chance to get up there and pick it up. The garage space they have is massive and my car is in safe hand's. The 40mm set up is easy and you could have also done it Gavla, by using components from another audi. Gavla can i ask how much you paid for your coilover kit.
