Black Carbon Fibre Wing Mirrros

Got my Black Edition A3 about 3 weeks ago on March 1st..

Absolutely love it but i was just thinking about a couple of little mods. My first thought was about getting the wing mirrors wrapped in carbon fibre..

Just wanted to see peoples views on this and also does anyone have any pictures of what this will look like as this will be a huge help?

There is a guy here that has wrapped his wing mirrors in carbon fibre and rest of the car in matt white. Have a look for those pics for an idea. I was going to do the same and still may tbh

yeah black on white will look good mate , there are real carbon ones on ebay for the older model cars but not for the new 11 spec cars yet real carbon fibre = winner

Carbon and black on white work so well together, go for it! This was my last car, (I know guys, it's a VX, but I've seen the light now, lol). I had bespoke carbon parts made for it, splitter, diffuser, spoiler, mirrors, side bump strips, fog surrounds, etc. Cost a lot, but I loved how it looked.

I'm thinking of buying the mirror covers on this link for my S3, for the 2009-2011 mirrors. Think they'd look against Imola yellow as well as white.

EDIT I also found some real carbon fibre covers for the new mirrors on Ebay (it says for A4, but they are the same as for the A3). Quite decently priced too, albeit they're from China, but then again aren't most things these days? lol

Aww, thanks Fran :thumbsup:. I'm getting there, collecting a few bits and bobs for it at the mo. This modding lark is expensive, but SOOOO addictive .

no probs oh yeah i know all too well i spent nearly 14k on my old escort rs turbo but she was a show car so thats ok lol, yeah keep us posted on new mods we love it on here we cant get enough of it lol
