Just dropped a mate off at Nice airport, France and came across this at the airport.....

Actually agreed Ibis then prob Sepang blue then red.
 
Debatable as to whether its ibis or suzuka but yes, it does look the business!

After all that!!

I told you it was overpriced and pretty un-special about 5 months ago. Still sometimes you have to go through the process I guess, but I think you've made the right choice mate, I can't help thinking this is probably going to be one the least remembered RS models Audi have ever produced.
 
Sportbacks just don't look quite right to me, shame there isn't a 3 door version.

Think the rear tints are worth getting? The above colour is Suzuka Grey by the way.

Hi guys, im new to this forum , been hanging around on tt-forum.co.uk

Ordered for some days ago : RS3 ibis, alu pack, nav, bose, folding mirrors ,aluminium race and some other stuff. Didnt took the buckets, because they are not worth the penny :) and i dricve quite much here in sweden , around 15.000 miles a year.
Not been told any build date, but i hope before August , if the car hasent got to production before August i can cancel it .

Welcome Like. Your spec is the same as mine although mine is Suzuka. Did your dealer tell you how many cars are coming to Sweden?
 
i think he said around 30ex at the first. Not sure , i can ask him .
Ill had an IBIS TTS before and reaaly liked the color, i do like suzuka :)
 
That looks awesome. I am now convinced I made the right choice in changing back to Suzuka. Roll on September (unless it gets put back again...)

I do like Suzuka , but ithink it looks more beutiful in Ibis WHite , Suzuka with Black Optics IBIS white with the Aluminium pack :yum::yum:

Audi cant delay it again , then i get ******, It need to come in August!

Greg, you changed back? Thought you didn't like it in the flesh?

I swapped my matt pack for Black. Saw an RS5 in Suzuka with Black pack - looked the nuts!!

I know, I know. Just can't make up my mind sometimes. I've decided to take my chances, haha.

Convinced that Suzuka is the colour to go for though, especially after seeing that pic. Should look the nuts with the black styling pack.

I totally hear what your saying. I feel like i'm taking my chances, but based on the feedback from everyone it seems like the colour to go for.

Was ment to be getting another s3 sportback but the deal has fell through. So I won't be getting it anymore.

On the other hand I have decided to speak to a few dealers who told me different answers on the availability of the rs3 after about 5 calls around I spoke to one of the dealers and they have came back with this email about my order:

" good news your car*has been accepted on the ordering system when the car get a build week we will keep you updated with emails about the progress."

They advised me it wouldn't be until 2012 until I will be looking for my car. So lets wait and see what happens. Hopefully sooner!

But ther is still spaces there from what other dealers have been saying to ppl!

Hello,

Also a newcomer. I wanted to find out what the dealers are telling you all in relation your RS3 orders? Feed back on mine this week was "Q3" i.e. Jul, Aug or Sept. This troubles me. I'm told 2,700 units are being built, 500 of which will be RHD. They're being built in Hungary. Surely an organisation of Audi's size and resources can build and ship these units in less than a 3-6 month period. Not even considering most orders where placed back in January.

Incidently, I've also gone for Suzuka with Black optics.

It turns out that these cars are not being built on Audi A3/S3 production line. They are being built by Quattro but i think what you have been quoted in falls in line with many of us who have ordered. I have yet to be told any different to the original date i was given (Mid May) but thanks to those on here i think i know where i stand and its far from Mid May! My order was placed First week of Jan so i'd like to think i was at the top of the list but who knows!

When did you place your order?

I placed my order 3rd week of Jan and was also told mid-May, early Jun - latest. I guess this was the initial guideline.

Interestingly, in the call with the dealer this week, they mentioned that the Audi UK dealer network will of course receive their demonstrators first. However, those who have not sold any of the 500 allocation will be allowed to retail their "demo" units almost immediately. Which I guess means there's a chance that anyone not sat in the queue could effectively be one of the first owners, albeit a car they did not spec. The final comment was that another client who placed their order prior to me has a delivery date of Q4. The only major difference in spec was that they'd opted for the upgraded seats.
 
Thing that annoys me most about this car, is the fact they've just stole a set of 18's off cars from the other range. There should be special edition alloys only for this car, it's REALLY crying out for a set of 19's imo!

Cannot wait to MTM get their hands on this!
