As above, I was thinking of painting the calipers but thought can you get covers? So I looked on ebay and there thay are!

Has anyone had any experience with covers? How well they fit etc, and do they melt?

Holmefield, Just take your time when painting your brake calipers as the old saying goes 90% preparation 10% perspiration.

I wasn't going to put the brembo look ones on i was just looking for some standard ones as an alternative to painting. I painted them on the last car i had so will probably paint again. But what colour to go for? The last car i had was bright blue, had red ones on that, now this ones silver should i go red again?

I was thinking silver, never seen silver calipers on a silver car though...

I was gunna do red,, but i think silver will look better!!! i nice subtle mod !!!!
will look cool with the escort cossy whale tale transplant and magneting fingers trying to lift the boot lid ! PMSL!

Oh my days, and to think i was getting called a chav for having big wheels and a low car! these are possibly one of the worst things you can fit to a car. next you'll be posting up about the stick on drilled and grooved discs!

if you want big brakes, buy them. don't pretend!

Whats wrong with big wheels and a low car, I personally think the A4 looks miles better with bigger alloys and a lower ride height. To many people believe that Audis shouldn't be modded other than with AUDI OEM+ bits.

If you do the mods carefully and use imagination and dont just pickup any old cheap tack theres nothing wrong with adding your own twist......BUT i agree those brake caliper covers are TERRIBLE..

But im still going to paint my calipers Yellow, just like i will get my 19" 10J rears to fit by hook or by crook....Let the haters begin!!!!

I always use black boot polish. It's very forgiving for those who have 'shakey hand syndrome' :haha:
