Rear Mud flap Rivet??

Guys i need a rivet/clip that fixes the bottom part of the flap to the car.
Would i be right in thinking i need this part number or is it a different part i need?

Don't recognise that number mate. Do you mean mud flap or is it the whell arch liner ?

In the meantime see if any of these might fit. :-

EDIT : yeah - just found that number, it's a spreader rivet and costs 17p from Audi !

Size is 8mm x 12mm so this item is identical and cheaper :-

Ok mate, well its definitely not the part number you said then !

Are these mud flaps OEM extras ?

If not, then this is the only other fixing part I can find :-

N 908 214 01 which is described as 'expanding nut' size 4.8 x 19.6mm

This goes into the bodywork and an oval head panel screw no. N 910 570 01 size 5 x 16mm screws into it !

Apart from that mate then sorry 'don't know' !!!

Probably can't buy the part seperate. I know the bit you need. You push it in the hole and then hammer the middle pin in which expands the plastic holding the mudflap in place.

As the mudflaps come as a kit I suspect you would have to buy a complete set to get the said item....

Those are the ones in the second link in my post #2. As you say, you push on the 'frilly' bit and then smash the pin in to spread it !!

Just been to VW. I have to order the complete mudflap set at £36!
