FK AK Street height adjustable coilys

Spend a bit more money on something more proven mate and you wont get stuck with something you have spent money on and is absolute *****

My mate went for FK-AK springs on his golf, got to say they where surprisingly a huge improvement on the suspension without making the ride harsh at all, but instead rather comfy and firm round the bends. I have a JOM setup which is basically the same thing just a lot stiffer and harsher for everyday driving. But for that price I consider them quite good especially when it was an improvement over the stock setup.

Well, i think that like you said, you pay for what you get, they dont look too bad but i would consider paying more if people rate the same coilys over and over, What is everyones reccomendations?
I mean i could pay £1000 for some fully adjustable ones, but for the road that isnt really neccesary i dont think, just want some for lowering i guess which is why i asked about these

I got a set but yet to fit them! There's a thread on here somewhere about them and there's a few tt guys with them on! Also believe a user has them fitted and was pretty pleased. The overall impression was pretty good! I can't comment as mine as still in the box, but the build quality looks pretty good for the money!

I`ve got them on my A4. Fairly reasonable for the money. They arent too hard or crashy compared to other cheap sets. Reasonable quality, i never saw anything dodgey about them when fitting. Think they list them as 30% uprated compared to standard stuff. Completely changed the handling of my car. From boat like handling to minimal bodyroll and felt much more stable.

I been running theses for a little while and they are perfectly fine and a good improvement over the standard setup.

Alot of TT owners been runnings these for ages now with no bad feedback.

welitecs would be a better coilover they are around £500 but are made by kw so you know what your getting

Ye thats far enough but for the most people they just buy these named branded parts just to say they have them. Why buy fully adjustable coilies etc if you just deck it and never setup up your cars suspensions properly.

Sooo manys cars have very good suspension and dont even have them setup right or track there car which kinda defeat the object of having "proper" suspensions. If you want a good improvement in handling, good quality and ok ride theses are fine IMO.

This is half the reason why I'm going to buy a set height damper and spring kit, I cant be bothered with coilovers.

Make sure you tell us how they are on your B6 Gavlar, as I haven't read anything about these on an 8E chassis yet, and these are the coilovers I want!
