N8 your car looks awesome, wish I could go to these shows and see it in the flesh. Massive fan of the alcantara headlining and RS6 wheel of beauty. Those wheels, ace! I totally agree with what you say, these show off the brakes more than the Helio's did.

All around great job, wish I had the same funds to make improvements to the cars, although I will look more into it after the warranty has passed.

Wow mate, thats a fair amout of work! Like others, im not a fan of it that low but loving the rest.

Used to be a guy on forum years ago that had alcantara headliing on his RS6 & it looked amazing. Im guessing not too cheap to get that done!!!

Im not as brave as you in your bold but successful ideas!
 
Really good to see the car in the flesh although i saw this post after I had actually seen it! First time I have been to any VAG show and I was really amazed by the attention to detail.
 
I love the brakes, are they RS4 ones or TT RS
 
There's no shadow of a doubt those rims are ****** spot on mate, I'd love to see them in silver on yours due to the rails and mirrors but mate, they are really nice. Car looks good bro, the added touches are nice, not sure about the leather rear parcel shelf but the Alcantara is stage 3 modding :wub:
 
i remember you saying mate and they have got a pretty distinctive look as well, despite having my own 4 pots i am quite jealous of them

wow love the alcantara headlining i want i want lol, loving all the new mods fella including the exhaust nice touch that , im not a big fan of them wheels but thats just me , good right up tho mate looking forward to seeing any new mods in the near future and seeing the car at inters
 
na fran the TTRS is running 370mm
im trying to work out what runs 350mm as the RS4 is either 355-360, but a floating disc but that doesnt look like a floating disc, unless its the rear R8 disc, but im not sure what size that is, more likely then not its a custom disc or one form another manufacturer rather then an oem one
 
the brakes are off the rear of an R8, its just the rotors i cant work out grr lol!!

Nate this is my favourite photo love the stance and look. As some one else said desktop (i never desktop people's cars). One of my favourite sportback of all times, i like the interior/purple because as you said goes well with the paint work. Alloys and rear bumper looks amazing. Glad you had a good day yesterday wish i was able to make it.
 
your SB looks top dollar lad :hubbahubba: really like roof liner and steering wheel, did they take long to retrimmed? any other bits to retrim? dash maybe?
 
Could be merc discs as they bolt straight on, they are
what "Dave B" sells with the Porsche callipers
 
Well i dont know what to say N8 youve knocked it out the park hopefully ill get to meet you and have a proper look at it later in the year at a show once my mk2 is finished

Bro u know my thoughts on ur car, it's is one of if not the sickest sportback in the country!! The only persons opinion that counts with ur car is hayleys and ur own otherwise what would be the point in modding cos all cars would look the same, it's personal taste, in my honest opinion the this car is perfection, from the colour of the interior to the wheel it's just pure filth. Well done Nath

Couldn't agree more Nath, absolutly spot on! Was good to see it in the flesh at UD on Sunday, shame we missed each other, apart from that cheeky beep and wave you gave me as I was walking up. Need to catch up very soon bro!
 
Can I be brutally honest about the wheels?
 
when i first saw the purple online i thought too bright but seeing it in the flesh its not as bright and looked nice also thought the carbon touches looked spot on
 
I love the alcantara, just not keen at all on the wheels or ride height.

Top quality workmanship though.
 
I'm late to the party as usual, but N8, great write up and pics. Top work buddy, small incremental mods that always seem to add to the car.

I love the rims; would never have thought they would've worked, it's maybe just colouring them makes them more unique. Very subtle.

Rear end is mean, but hey, "I like big butts and I cannot lie"

Air install is work of genius and art, very tasty indeed.

I'll need to work on the missus so I can get south this year and finally see this car in person. Si, maybe we could team up?
