Inside - Took about 40mins to remove all the trim, then about 3 hours to wrap made sure I took my time.
Outside - Front bumper off, separated the grille & surround, about 40mins to wrap again going slow to get a good job.
 
Looks brilliant mate.

All you have to do is come round and do mine now!:icon_thumright:
 
Looks the nuts! Great work.

Especially love the grill. I tried that with Black Avery vinyl with the grill on the car and it took me an absolute age!!
 
That's one of the best DIY carbon vinyl jobs I've ever seen, well done matey! Love how you've got the weave all running the same direction and matching up. I'm a real sucker for carbon fibre, my last car was clad in the stuff. That looks ACE! :)

Got it from my local vehicle graphics design shop, cost £40 for 1.3m x 1m, I really wanted to see the stuff and test try a piece before buying

Very impressed. Personally not into carbon fibre wrap but thats neither here nor there, great job. I have my roof to do next weekend, so i will get an idea of whats involved. Top work !!

Yep Carbon wrap 3M - Di noc, colours available were Black, Silver, Red & Anthracite.
He also had 3M matte black vinyl.
 
That looks really nice. I'm going to do my B6 to modernise the inside a bit, I just need to decide between CF or alu silver.
 
Not a fan of the carbon look, but i can appreciate what a good job you have done I would go mad trying to get it to look as good as that!
 
That looks great fella! Would like to do mine at some point... How did you do the grill as from the pics it looks like one piece? Also, when you did the ashtray lid how did you manage to keep the choke tabs that run along the edge?

Bumper off, then remove the grille from the bumper, then I separated the chrome surround from the inner grille.
I basically cut a sheet 2 inches wider than the surround then carefully stuck it to the surround, but when I got to the bottom I had to cut and overlap it by an inch or so because of the curves of the surround. I then made 1 cut in the centre of the bottom and matched it up.....so one piece......lots and lots of patience lol
 
If you mean by choke tabs, the two chrome strips atop the ashtray cover, they just pop out of the lid, so after wrapping the lid I used a darning needle to locate the holes and worked the needle through to allow me to then push the strips back in.

Looks great, well done. Having done my door strips and gear selector / ashtray I know how much work it takes. You must have the patience of a saint to do all that.

I didn't know the chrome strips came off the ashtray lid, so I just went over them. I have just got the two on the dash to do which I am not looking forward to that much. Any tips ?

This was quite time consuming only because there is the potential to damage paintwork, I used a few different sized flathead screwdrivers, covered the ends with tape so as not to scratch the paintwork. Slowly prised it forward bit by bit along the length of the trim, it was tricky tho, there might be an easier way, or a how to somewhere (I couldnt find one when i looked).

Proper job mate - especially like the external stuff - had to look twice, the finish is spot on.
 
Really nice! Thanks for your tip on the ashtray cover - I had meant to say chrome strips but for some reason it came out as choke tabs lol

Have you thought about fitting some spacers to widen the rear track slightly and fill out the arches a bit more?
