Seat angle

I need the angle of the rear seats in relation to the boot floor on an avant.

Does any one randomly know what it is or know of way to find out?
I dont think I have any thing to work out what angle is it.

or hang a plum line off the top of the seat and measure the 3 sides of the triangle and do some pythagorous to work out the angle

I was kind of being lazy lol.
If I get time i'll sit down this weekend and work it out.

Relative to the seat base (NOT relative to the horizontal) :

(At least in my '99 S4....) it is 99.01245....blah blah....degrees.

just before measuring again though..... what is this for? is this for a sub enclosure or something?
If so it would be better not to measure the angle, but to use something like an angle guage for marking off wood. That way it will match exactly rather than being cut to a set angle which may be measured or calculated slightly off.

Its for my boot floor build idea.

It does not have to be 100% just enough for the floor to butt up to the back of the seats to stop it from moving to much.

Storage and to make it level with the back of the boot.

the back half will be amps and tools and the front will be for coats, laptops and thing else that will fit in about 90mm of space.

I got the idea from Skoda.
My mate got it in his Octavia.
I'm after some of the tie down eyes if any one got any going.

Cool idea. Suppose you will maintain access to the wheel etc? Is it like a sliding type mechanism?

Once the floor is fitted you can't get to the spare wheel.
You need to strip it all out.
Bit of a pain but since it all clips together it should not be to much trouble to strip it out.
There is a bottle of tyre weld in the side just in case.

I made a box that sits flush with the back of the seats. closed off from the boot and access from the rear seat. keep all my crap in there so it is not flying around teh boot.
If I do leave the boot cover open it just looks like the back of the seat through the rear window.
its is shallow enough to allow the spare wheel well flap to come up and wide enough to put in small bags/boxes etc

I picked up a 6" JL 6w3 and a Alpine V12 Amp this weekend.
Going to have a play fitting the sub this weekend.

I also need to get the two dogs in boot.
