HIgh Flow exhaust manifold.

Hi all,

Just a quick question but would a high flow exhaust manifold such as the ATP one give any performance gains on a remapped S3 ? If not then what, if any, benefits would you expect ?

a manifold comes into its own with a different turbo - although the k04 is restricted by the factory manifold, its expensive to change and would usually go with a big turbo upgrade.

would it give some improvement on a remapped s3? probably but not worth the money.

would it be worth it as part of a big turbo upgrade? abosutely necessary

These are interesting facts. As you know, my cousin is planning to install a high flow exhaust manifold too since he want to increase the performance of his car. But we're unsure if it would really somehow increase the performance of his car. Having read your post, I think it's much better to go with a turbo upgrade along with the exhaust manifold. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'm gonna let my friend know about this.
