Just noticed i'm coming up to 1200.
I spend way to much time on here talking ****.

But, I did do a good deed yesterday.
I ordered a new thermostat for my moto but the guy sent me two. So i sent the other one back to him.

moral dilemma, Do i post it back to the ebay shop guy, I've all ready told him or do I send it to a fellow ASN member.

I could give the Ebay guy a couple of pound for it (he offered to cover posting cost) and then pass it on to jb0o?

How much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking? I need one as my AC fan keeps kicking off so I've been told a new thermostat should sort it!
 
ooohh the story thickens, youve told him hes sent you 2..... now this is a problem.... definately moral dilema.... i dont mean to seem like a post whore but i am bored as F£&%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we all know how that feels, depends how much rating uve got on ebay, and maybe the bloke will do some type of a deal with you for it :) if hes that much of a goony to send out 2 thermostats to you then maybe we all hope hes bright enough to do a deal with you.......

I'm slightly bored too, though I've got loads to be getting on with. Keep getting a damn error when trying to download 2008 SQL Server, friggin MSDNA Microsoft Alliance sucks.

Dont worry about it.
I got to install Smart board software on to 50 PCs and we got no automated way of doing it.
Remote on PC, install software, Logoff, Move on to next PC.
Started 10am this morning and i've done 3. lol

I might send him a msg and say a friend needs a thermostat as well, would he be ok with me paying him a disscount price for the unit i got.

This is very true...

ive just totally given up with work all together and have started the zombie page refreshing until something new comes up, however i am gonna now go outside and try and jump off the kerb, i would like others to try this as well.....

The captin is down at the moment, I dont think he'd think to highly of me jumping off a curb with my eye closed.

Not sure dude. Its for a A4 1.9 TDI AFN engine.

Smart Board software blows.

The older versions used to have a MSI installer that you could roll out through GPO.

I have installed many copies of that myself. Booooooooooo.

I hate it.
Well, I hate the fact that we dont have any way to roll it out to all 50 PC and that i have to sit here and do each one.
That will change in the next couple of months. Bring back the images and rips, WooHoo.

They are good for games and simulators though.
I was asked for make a PC with a smartboard to play games or as they put it, training aids.
So I did, RTS's are best.
I might see if I can take one of the older version home with me.

EDIT:=-
Fecking PCs are switched off and wake on lan is not even enabled. Sod it, I'm not walking to the other side of the base. They can wait till they phone up moaning that their new smart bored dont work.

yeah im slightly baffled by the ethernet lan and other complicated stuff, however saying that i am on the jaguar forum saying about the ignition systems on the xjrs 6.0L V12 zytec car.... yeah thats how my day is gonna end... sat on forums.....

lol, yes I have fixed 2 360s with RROD, one for Tuffty and one for my mate at work.

Also fixed a mate's boss's son's 60GB PS3 with the old yellow light of death.

Thus far I have bought 1 60GB PS3 off of ebay and sold that on fixed, one 360 has been bought and sold on, got an 360 Elite on Ebay now that didn't have RROD but a knackered DVD drive, so thats good to go (Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - perfect working order 2009. on eBay (end time 12-Mar-11 09:50:49 GMT)), got 4 more 360s in the post on their way....

It's all going on... lol.

I'm about £140 quid down at the moment, but that's with 4 360's in hand, and including buying all the gear.

Not alot I can really sell on or use in work to make money on.

Well, that remains to be seen. I'm keeping an eye on a few today and after that I'm not buying any more until the ones I have in house are done. That way I can see how much money has been made, and then make a more informed decision if it's worth doing or not.

If so, I shall be buying them in in droves!! lol.

Thats my lottory/retirement plan.
Nice big garage and just spend the day fixing, making, designing and building things for poeple.

I've planned what I want it to look it and what will be in it.
Just need the money. lol

LOL. was driving to work this morning, and was queueing in traffic as usual. Something came on the local radio about someone having won the 7.1 million jackpot in Gloucestershire.

I do my lottery all by direct debit now as I am lazy, and so I check my emails just in case.

On my phone there is an email saying 'We have news about your ticket'....

Ummm, **** the bed didn't I ever get to that website fast. The missus is nagging in my ear telling me to log onto it faster... Can't remember my password either to log on... Starting to stress... and then....





After all this amazing excitement - I won £10.

WOW.
