Seen thes on eBay for £170 just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or dealings with these? They come with a 3 year warranty. Little unsure weather to try these or not. What do you guys think?

I've had them on my mk4 GTI. For what they are they are good. But they are cheap coilovers, so don't expect a smooth ride.

I had AP coilovers on my V6 4motion, and they were pretty good. I didn't really notice too much difference between them and standard suspension with regards to ride comfort. So they could be worth a shout, and not too expensive. Or Weitecs are good too. All made by KW.

If fitted coil-overs to pretty much all of my previous cars. Ranging from Weitecs to Hottuning and NONE of them gave a smooth ride. The were all pretty much the same ride quality wise (except the weitecs, they were hard). The main difference i found was the corrosion protection. imho

I'm going to run hottuning ones when the funds allow.

Really? Hmmm now this has got me thinking. I nearly have enough for ap coilovers but saw these and they are tempting. Damn what to do lol

Well, I did notice a massive improvement between the rides on both. That said, the hottuning ones were lowered fully at the back, where the AP's weren't. So that could have influenced the ride quite some way.

I only paid £100 for my hottuning though, compared to £450 for the AP's. Personally, next time I buy suspension, I'll be going shocks and springs though. Can usually find springs low enough (my H&R's on the A3 are 55mm and are perfect height wise).

Not really on a budget as I nearly have enough for ap coilovers just can't see what the difference could be

Bought of a mate looks mint wen decked but never got chance to fit them on mine plus selling my a4 due too need a van for work don't want too spoil the car buy getting it filthy

Ive got Fk s on mine, for the money they are good ride is frim but not too hard, worth a look

do you need coilovers. Shocks and springs are normally a more suited setup for lowering.
