C17LJR's quattro sport avant

Bentleys look great. I'd say bring the front up a bit so the wheel gap is the same front and back

Thanks guys, the arch gap will be evened out very soon,

coilovers adjusted to bring the front up a touch, top arch liner bolts removed and arches folded back alittle,

what a different to the way the car drives, feels amazing.

What's the difference with the US style lights? looks like indicator & squarish main light?

Standard UK and US halogen are very similar apart from the side markers which are like side lights but shine amber,

Trial fitted one of the lights tonight, standard main beam (drivers side main beam bulb has gone )

Loving your car mate! I bet the dude who owns the other blue a4 feels slight envy when you park next to him :) Such a huge difference between the two.

You went for running without a front bumper then lol!

Are you going to have a front plate when the blank is fitted or do without it altogether?

What colour is this? And what you getting done exactly? Having the number plate blank smoothed in but retaining the void behind so at the push of a button the number plate can slide down and out !!
No, really, whats the craic?

yep, for a couple days, thought it'd be okay. cheapest was 115 quid for a non genuine bumper :(

not decided on the plate yet james, thinking i'm going to get a vinyl sticker style plate to stick on the bumper so i can just fit/remove the cover when required, thinking of getting a matching square plate to go with the rear though?

lol, 007 styley? no, just getting both painted mate, i like the idea of it not being totally smooth on the front.

oh, its denim blue i think?

Car looks stunning mate.

Whats the original et of the rear wheels and what spacers are running (if you are)? Really like the position of the rear wheel to arch youve got

thanks mate,

wheels are bolted straight on, no spacers, et 41, 9" wide

So glad to see i am not the only one who thinks the chrome needs to stay. Cars have always come with black painted bits as it was a cost saving idea for manufacturers. Can't understand why people would want to go for it out of choice.

Sweet. Who do you use and where are you based.

Gutted. I can't find a good painter here in South Wales, a so called custom body shop Fu**ed up of a little repair i needed done on my 320D.. back in 2006.

yep, difficult to find a good bodyshop you can trust.

actually thinking of selling up as something else has caught my eye :)

nope, got my eyes set on something special mate, sorry.

i do love this though, so if i don't get the new one i won't be selling.

Can I ask why you have got cab lights and us lights. Won't the us lights fit straight in?

Yes, the US lights are a straight fit,

But... I bought the cab lights as they were advertised as S4 saloon items, they got here and that's when I found they were cab ones and obviously wouldn't fit so thought I'd at least make use of the xenons to do something a little different

I really want them. May have to be my next mod after the coilovers. They look awsome on your car

Parts back from paint, but are a different colour to the car :)
